Point your finger towards someone who argued that? Again, dont try to create an illusion of a "possible situation". Its very possible that jet pilots suck, DPVs arent used, APCs are kept smoking and MSTA isnt present on the map, in which case whatever you do with the bomber, is being outdone with a chopper.

Stop using the "what if" theory. "What if" I was in the server with you, you wouldnt even be able to fly the damn bomber, let alone score kills in it.

It doesn't really matter how good of a helo pilot/gunner you are, you're definately going to be making a lot of time-wasting trips back to the uncap to repair if the ground (and air) aspects are doing what they should to eliminate the attack choppers. In the time it takes you to go back and repair, the jets can clear out whole spawn points with the cannon, missiles, or bombs.
A jets cannons and bombs are avoidable. A chopper is not avoidable. Simple and undeniable fact.

As much as you hate to admit it, attack choppers are weak, and if one is getting teamed by 2 APCs or even 2 DPVs, it will almost always lose unless the pilot can get out of there really fast. Which is hard to do if you're a MEC chopper at the shore flags on Oman. Just me and my brother sitting on the crane in Oman as USMC being support, we can get choppers to start smoking.
Noone is hating to admit it. Its common sense. But were talking about a choppers potential to clear the map, not its position in the food chain. Were talking about the potential of a chopper against the potential of the bomber. If the chopper isnt kept in check, the team will lose. You will not be able to get any flags if a chopper is present, period. You will be able to get flags and avoid getting killed when a jet is present.

Now, you do have to go to the uncap quite a few times in the jet (depending on what kind of pilot you are), but jets are a million times faster than helicopters, and it only takes 1 fly-by to reload, while helicopters are slower, and then take time to repair on the helipad.
Supply crate ensures that a chopper crew doesnt have to go to the uncap. Besides, in Oman, for MEC, the uncap is so close that the absence of the chopper can be felt for a limited few minutes only.

You and your brother on the crane are also the first ones ot get sniped off the skies.

You have no problem? If a skilled pilot is on your butt, your slow Su-34 WILL have a problem. Thanks to it being slow, even if youre going to engage in missile deflecting maneuvers, I will cannoneer you the second you stop utilizing your superior turn radius. And there are pilots out there who are vastly superior to me, as Im out of shape and out of practice. I would still have no problems chasing a Su-34. And if I was in the F18, it would be that much easier. Not to mention what Cynic said about your slow speed and his TV shots catching up with you.

It's pretty easy to fly a bomber in patterns that keep people off your six but not always I know. But I can make a run and let my bomber TV the tank while I put 5 shots in the cockpit of the helo and kill it then release the bombs killing the entire infantry...do it all the time so stop trying to defend yourselves.
Im a competent jet pilot, and a rookie at choppers at best, and even I detect a lot of BS from what youre saying. Youre again dwelling into the "what if" scenario where youre in a Su-34 with your buttbuddy and you have no competent pilots in F18 or F35B.

Read bold text to reveal how much nonsense you scribbled up. A competent pilot will let you shoot 5 shots at him, but youd be too engaged with the chopper to give your gunner a shot or go after a flag. What you described is a turkeyshoot situation when a chopper pilot is capping the flag, an Abrams is under it and there are a few infantry grunts around. It would be almost as easy as me being behind you with F18, machine gun blazing having one hand in my pants warming my nuts. Except that in my case, it would be even easier. A competent pilot will utilize mouselook to scan the skies at 500 feet, if we engage in a "what if" scenario, you wouldnt stand a chance.

The bottom line is you are tards. Redlining is self satisfaction... I guess since you can't land a Vickies model girlfriend, you'll be stuck redlining fat chicks @ the club and soloing your monkey.

I have to take my kids to activities so I will let you choppa fruits chew on that..
I dont think your kids will appreciate the extraordinarily low IQ level you have, once they grow up. They will probably redline you somewhere.

Actually, I find the things you say are more "what if", because almost any server you go on, the attack choppers are useless, and the jets are superior in every way possible. Almost all the things you say are only possible on servers played by only hard-core enthusists (like clan servers, or in tournaments).

In reality, everyone playing are noobs and only about 5 actually have some skill. If you're only talking about private clan servers or tournaments, then ok, I can agree with most of what you say. But in public servers, it's a lot different. If you even manage to get the attack chopper on a public server, it will be a 0% chance you'll get a pilot that is as you've described. I noticed people in public servers perfer getting kills than taking flags and do almost anything to get kills. So even if you did make it as a pilot and redlined your gunner, you'll still be targetted a lot by ground assets.

oh, and btw, my brother and I almost always never get found on the crane and are usually there the whole round as different kits if we're up for it.

I don't play private servers either because I find them pretty boring

Indeed they are "what ifs". Jets are superior only if they dont have anyone harassing them, choppers are only superior if they dont have jets harassing them, and so forth. Which is why one has to use the statistical facts. You get a chopper circling the flag, and that flag gets taken. You get a jet bombing a flag, and it may not get taken. A simple fact to accept- you can avoid a jet, you can never avoid a chopper. Just have a look-see at the popular "Wake island Chownage" videos by Nismo, Metallica and Chodda.

EDIT: The fact that your brother and you can play the whole round on Oman on the crane, means youre playing with complete and utter retards.

          Yup

However, with bombers, its a different story. A bomber pilot can indeed harass the choppers, but hes making a choice to give up harassing ground targets if he does so.

And if a chopter is going after another chopter, hes also making a choice to give up harrassing ground targets...

You both are also conveniently excluding the fact that if theres a fighter pilot with some skills, the bomber will not be able to harass the chopper, he wont be able to harass ground targets either. Whatever youre saying, it doesnt matter, because it depends on how the round plays out.

And if there are good pilots (jets and chopters) present, the chopter wont be killing that much stuff either. The jet only has to care about other jets, and AA on a certain degree. Chopters cant kill the bomber if the bomber has a competent crew. Chopters on the other hand can be held at bay with 3 ppl with M95 (i've done that with a couple of friends of mine).

So lets talk about something we actually can measure in time, score and whatnot else.

Provided I have a competent gunner, I can drive USMC forcess off the beach of Oman in less than 3 minutes, during those 3 minutes, I can eliminate all USMC armor, so that basically MEC (my) armor comes in and caps the flags with impunity. MEC bomber cannot do this, and the only way they can get CLOSE to such a result, is by playing on FF-OFF servers.

And if you give me a competent pilot for the SU, i will do the same thing with the LGM. F35's will get shot down without any problems.

A jet does not have the ability to clean up everything within seconds, using constant supressive presence. This basically means that if me and my gunner are circling around your flag, you will live 0.5- 1 second after you spawned, only to see my team move in while you cant do anything about it. Thats how great a chopper is.

Yes chopters can supress flags pretty well. But they are also really easy to take down them they are fuddling around a flag. So easy to give it a burst in the cockpit when its spinning around that flag:)

The close in air support coupled with surgical precision and constant presence is unmatched by a jets carpetbombing which is aimed really only using certain landmarks or HUD target elements.

Chopters are better vs inf, but jets are better vs everything elce.

And yes, if Im flying a jet, and I see a chopper do more damage than my team can tolerate, I will take out that chopper, and will keep taking it out and the only time Ive been TVd out of the sky, is when I was foolish enough to approach the Cobra head on using a "tadaa"- Su-34.

Dont attack from the front then:)

Not necessarily. Provided theres a chopper crew, the pilot needs only to give the gunner a 1 second window to get the TV missile loose. The dogfight is over in a matter of mere seconds. The dogfight between jets can take much, much more than that, and the jet leaves the area while doing so, after which it has to reposition for an AOA.

And if there are good pilots (jets and chopters) present, the chopter wont be killing that much stuff either. The jet only has to care about other jets, and AA on a certain degree. Again, if choppers harass ground targets, jets harass choppers and jets harass each other and STA harasses them all, noone is going to be doing anything. Just by the mere glimpse at your stats I can tell that if you were in a Su-34, and I was in the F35B, youd last less than 10 seconds if I got behind you. Thats how long I would have to harass you. In theory, bombers are on the lower level of the food chain compared to fighters.

And if you give me a competent pilot for the SU, i will do the same thing with the LGM. F35's will get shot down without any problems.
I think I have more experience than you in the jets to be able to tell that you can not do the same in less than 3 minutes. Youre limited to making spike attacks at the flags, which are all really easily avoidable. Provided theres enough infantry on the flags to keep your infantry at bay, all youll accomplish, is kill a few grunts every spawn time. But if youre limited to FF-ON, you will not be able to utilize the full flag clearning potential of your LMG, which again, is limited to being unprecise at best. Take a chopper, and there will be no infantry, no vehicles and no opposition to challenge the squada moving in for the capture. People who play competition know this. And while you can shoot down an F35B while youre in the Su, provided the pilots are of equal skill, Su will get shot down every time. Its not really a secret that we treat bombers (except for Su-30) as our cannon target practice ships.

Yes chopters can supress flags pretty well. But they are also really easy to take down them they are fuddling around a flag. So easy to give it a burst in the cockpit when its spinning around that flag
Considering your stats, I find this very hard to believe, that you can take chopper down "with ease". Needless to say, it doesnt just take "a burst in the cockpit", it takes a prolongued burst that would actually hit, and if the chopper evades your cannon fire, youre usually left to coming at the chopper for another pass. Its easy to take down a chopper which crew is incompetent. Its hard to take out a chopper whos pilot knows what hes doing.

Chopters are better vs inf, but jets are better vs everything elce.
Wheres your "wrong wrong wrong wrong..." video piece?

Chopper is more efficient than jets against

            -Infantry
            -APCs
            -Tanks
            -STA clearing
            -Flag captures
            -Flag defenses

I left out boats and light vehicles as Ive found jets to be more or less equal to choppers in being able to take care of those.

Once a chopper spawns and takes off, Im using Oman as an example. It can intercept ANY and ALL vehicles moving for the teams flags without the need to reload. In just under a minute, it can destroy 3-5 vehicles, and thats basically all of the USMC or MEC armor. A jet has to make continuous reload passes and even then, the surgical precision a TV missile has, is simply absent from bombs. Not to mention the lenghty trip you need to make to create a good AOA.

I wont even get to the dramatic events which will take place once your teams squad has been spotted by a chopper...

Dont attack from the front then
I was trying to ram him.

Being good =! Practicing around the clock

... but then you knew that, right?
Except you gotta practice to keep it up. Use it or lose it. Well known sports personality said "I'm not good. I'm lucky. The more I practice the luckier I am".

Playing thousands of hours means you can't help but pracctice.

As for your comment about wasting away on a game or forum: aren't you doing the exact same thing? That's right, you are. So is everyone else who's currently engaged in their particular hobby of choice. Some even make careers out of their passion for any given activity, like Chess, a sport like Tennis, or a career like most people who aren't dedicated or talented enough to stand out in anything else.
Like you said, you have no idea of my career or free time either. But I wasn't talking about forums specifically, I was talking about the hours they've spent playing the game. Like the maths said if these people do have something else like a job or schooling, the number of hours they spend on BF2 means they can't possibly do anything else besides.

No matter how "good" you think you are, it is a waste.

Forum posting can be done in a stolen hour or two. Getting 5K hours in 2 years can't.

Edit, and by "you" I don't mean you specifically Sloi.

To take away an available seat for someone who may need practice, just because an ego hound thinks he is so much more valuable to the team alone, simply shows what asshats these guys are.

                  I have already explained that
                  A. they aren't helping as much as they think unless the rest of there team just sucks.
B.The jet is obviously the most powerful tool in the BF arsenal.

Your arguments are the ones based on what if's... the chopper can clear the bases if the team sux, no ones on AA, no one's firing at it small arms or tank rounds, and the jets ignore it... And to say you know how that guy plays by looking at his stats proves to me what a narrow minded player you are. My stats don't reflect my abilities, they only prove I waste too much time on a video game. Who says he doesn't F-off, we don't all take this game as a serious reflection of ourselves.

Now that I have your attention, we can toss the inflammatory title aside for this public announcement.

My goodness, I've never been witness to so much incompetence in one round. I'm a nice guy, so I'll make a handy little list for all of you:

                    - Don't capture flags with the attack helicopter
                    - Pay attention to spotted vehicles, especially helicopters and mobile AA

Some items might be repeated for emphasis and importance. If you can't follow these simple rules, don't hop into the most valuable asset, or (and trust me, this is an extremely recent decision) I will decidedly redline you if given the chance.

At this point in my BF2 experience, it's what I want or nothing. I can't help the team if you're f*cking it all up for us, and I certainly don't have the patience to deal with your nonsense.

That is all. Commence flaming, (b-1)ssholes.

Oh yeah, and this site is taking a sh*t right now, huh? Can't even make a simple update to my post without the forum taking me well into the 23rd century. Christ...

Im sorry, the second you started insulting other people was the moment you gave away the right to insult you right back. The moment you started boasting about your real life ("Har har, I have kids!") was the second you gave the right to use your boasting against you.

If you were very competent, youd know that its physically impossible to chase a chopper, drop bombs and give LGM angles all at the same time, unless the chopper is hovering above the flag. Your "competence" is under question here. If you were a very competent player, you would know a helicopers firepower capacity when it comes to securing, defending flags and fight armor. "Evidently", you dont. Perhaps you were on a TWL/CAL team which lacked pilots/copilots with decent TV skills?

As for the bold comment. Once again, you dont know what youre talking about. People redline other people to preserve their own FUN, not to stroke their egos. They TK and redline to not to be dependant on the lack of skill of their partner.

                      I have already explained that

No you havent. All youve said is that a jet will eat a chopper and you even went into ridiculous lenghts to try to tell me that a chopper is a wasted piece of equipment as soon as it engages another chopper. Fact is, chopper dogfights usually last until that first successful TV missile, which can take mere seconds. After those seconds, the chopper pilot doesnt really need much time to reposition himself and hes back in action.

So you were saying skill in manning STA sites? Most BF2 maps, 90% of map areas are covered by at least 1-2 STA sites. Which means that if a chopper cleans out those first (which takes anywhere between 15 and 30 seconds), and they usually do, they have free reign over enemy armor, which they can again, dispose of in mere seconds. No jet is capable of the armor killing efficiency a chopper is.

Ask competent people, and they will tell you the same.

B.The jet is obviously the most powerful tool in the BF arsenal.
Not quite. The jet is the most powerful tool in the BF2 arsenal, but the chopper is undoubtedly the most efficient tool in BF2 arsenal. You might win if you have a jet loose on the map, but you will never win if you have a chopper crew loose on the map.

My stats dont really reflect my abilities either, stats wont tell if youre godlike, theyw ont tell if you suck bad. But they will most certainly show tendencies. Thats besides the point though.

Some of my arguments were based on what ifs, which is why Ive urged you many times to simply compare both jets and choppers efficiency on he field, their potential, their effect on the battlefield. And you will see that a jet is not as good as a chopper when it comes to clearing flags, supporting troops, and destroying armor.

Go on about your disillusioned views and I will continue on having fun a chasing chopper whores off the servers I frequent...
Noone said you couldnt, but since youre boasting so much about "chasing chopper whores", why dont you accept Cynics offer?

If you took the monkey spanking comment as an insult, then you need to get out an get laid so you aren't insecure. I think [NET]Nemesis was one of the best helo pilots in DC, but he was never arrogant. I have seen a few like him in BF2 but then there are the attention whores I see here.

If they want to solo, I already stated thats fine, just go to an underpopulated server where there isn't someone wanting that seat. Doing it on a well populated server only serves themselves and their ego's.

My competence isn't in question you simply continue to spew false statements to try and justify actions that are self serving and poor sportsmanship.

I have compared and I see that a good bomber crew is much more devastating than a chopper solo ho. The chopper can be devastating and the chaingun can mow down infantry with a bit more precision but not if there is only one player in it and he's busy trying to chopper duel. If you were competent, you would understand that a pilot can make a pass to assess the sit, then come in with an angle of attack that places the chopper in his sights but lets the gunner still have shots on ground targets.

You have repeatedly ignored what I was saying, or did you just not comprehend that 2 aces in a bomber is a better hand than 1 king in a chopper?

And why would I care about taking on a 1v1 challenge?

2.What fun would a 1v1 be? None..Just lots of wasted time chasing each other around trying to get into postion for a kill.. I've been tv'd in the su when I was either f'n off playing chicken with the helo or when I was just playing casual and not caring. But I always have downed that helo once airborne again and I have LGM'd more helo's than they have tv'd me.

Im sorry, who gives a flying wheel? The typidal "I have real responsibilities" is the old and stupid "I have life n u dont har har" type of approach. I mean, seriously.. Youre so transparent that if I would be able to piss through you.

No, you specifically said "You are tards." and I was having a conversation with you. I dont feel offended, I feel free, because whenever I go out of line, I wont feel quilty.

The best pilots in BF2 seem to be arrogant because they get called out by punks a lot. Some of them are genuine a-holes, others simply respond to the provocations. If you had a look around, youd see that BF2 pilots arent really boasting about their skill, they just respond to people who claim to be the best.

If they want to solo, I already stated thats fine, just go to an underpopulated server where there isn't someone wanting that seat. Doing it on a well populated server only serves themselves and their ego's.
No. It serves themselves and their fun. Ego has nothing to do with it.

My competence isn't in question you simply continue to spew false statements to try and justify actions that are self serving and poor sportsmanship.
                              Self serving, check
                              Poor sportsmanship, check
                              Necessary evil, check

Ive never said soloing was a "good deed". My stance is that soloing may be a necessary evil. Emphasis on the word evil. And you have yet to use real arguments to debunk my stance that a chopper is a more efficient killing machine.

I have compared and I see that a good bomber crew is much more devastating than a chopper solo ho.
Choppers anti-vehicular skills are unmatched. From a multitasking standpoint, there is no more versatile element in the game than a chopper crew. A soloers anti-vehicular capabilities are still vastly superior to of a bombers crew. The numerous chopper "soloing" videos on youtube.com can attest to my claim. And a chopper crew/soloer can keep a constant supporting presence around a flag with a precision strike ability, which a jet pilot can not.

The chopper can be devastating and the chaingun can mow down infantry with a bit more precision but not if there is only one player in it and he's busy trying to chopper duel.
                              1. Its not "bit" more precise, its "a sh!tload" more precise. Im sure you can clear out every infantry grunt around a flag with one pass, leaving your teammates unharmed... right.

If you were competent, you would understand that a pilot can make a pass to assess the sit, then come in with an angle of attack that places the chopper in his sights but lets the gunner still have shots on ground targets.
That takes time and LUCK, because were dealing with mobile threats. If you were competent, youd know a chopper wont sit still, and in the 15 second timeframe that youd need to reposition yourself for an approach, he may have aswell be gone. Same for tanks. Which is why jets are limited to swoops and passes only, which is their greatest limitation, while a chopper can TV the crap out of the whole enemy force and still maintain a constant presence around a specific perimeter, staying safe and haveing a lightning fast response time. All it takes for a chopper pilot to respond to a situation, is to turn around a shoot a TV. This takes about 5 seconds tops, and only needs one attempt.

Furthermore, your experience and the validity of your statements is under question if you think that chopper dogfights last long enough to lose the grip of the situation. Or, in any case, longer than jet dogfights. The reentering into engagement after a dogfight also takes less time.

You have repeatedly ignored what I was saying, or did you just not comprehend that 2 aces in a bomber is a better hand than 1 king in a chopper?
2 aces in the bomber is not better than 1 king in a chopper and Ive adressed it multiple times. A chopper king is excellent in TV missile use and chaingun use and he keeps every benefit a chopper gives.

However, from a purely score statistical point of view, I would agree that the bomber crew scores more than a single chopper pilot.

And why would I care about taking on a 1v1 challenge?
This has nothing to do with "challenge". The guy said that he can TV a slow moving bomber out of the skies with limited challenge. I disagree with him, but I havent been killed by him yet so I wont challenge what he said. Youre still boasting around how "totally kickass" youre in a bombers copilots seat. You either take his word for it, or you prove him wrong. He has posted his "credentials" (cough...), he has posted enough videos to show that he has the mouseclicking skills.

                              1. I don't give a rats ***. I get respect from the people I game with, I don't need it from a online click of forum addicts with 4k post.
Yes, you thrive on respect from people on the servers but you dont need respect from people on the forum. Noone is showing you any respect here, wake the **** up. Were just arguing, were not butt*****ing each other. Let go, I like girls, honest.

2.What fun would a 1v1 be? None..Just lots of wasted time chasing each other around trying to get into postion for a kill.. Yeah yeah, and he said specifically why he would TV your duo out of the skies.

The truth still stands... Soloing on a populated pubs is in poor taste and a good Su crew is much more valuable and devastating than a solo heliHo!
That truth is simply your limited experience in the game. I agree that its a matter of poor taste, but "valuable"? Give me a break. You cannot for the life of you make your team lose enemy flags as fast as you can with a chopper, that kind of infantry support is unmatched and unrivaled.

Reference to actually back up what Im saying? I already told you to check chopper crew videos, in case your CAL/TWL memory is fuzzy.

Have a nice day with your kids.
