Damn son, you must drive a convertible to fit that head in there...

You are fairly intelligent, so it boggles me that you still continue on. When you look up Pilot in the dictionary there are a few meanings, none of which mention battlefield. Adding the helicopter further specifies the designation. When speaking of helicopter pilots and soloing, it refers to the act of a pilot flying without an instructor. I didn't ignore that it's used as slang on this forum, it is. But that does not change it's literal meaning.

Yes, it was a trick question of sorts. Just like used in many studies. I said it in a deliberate way using it's literal meaning and not slang used on a gaming forum. No where did I say BF2 pilot. Literally, he is not a "helicopter Pilot"! You took the bait, hook line and sinker. You proved yourself to be capable of fault but will not recognize it. Now go read that article and tell me what it says about people who think they know more than they do and how they usually fail to recognize there own faults.

I have many failures in my life Chris, but this one's all your bro. And it's obvious that kills you, but not in a literal fashion just so were are specific.

Hell, at least Im not the one sitting on the top of a doubledecker!

You are fairly intelligent, so it boggles me that you still continue on.
Because that little "test" you made, its only known to you. Ive been proving you this whole time, that absolutely anyone whos playing BF2, is engaged in a BF2 thread, would see your quote not as a "ruse", but as a question regarding ones opinion of his skill level in that game. You used 3 direct specific words to fit that context.

Pilot- as the thread is about BF2 pilots
Solo- as the the thread is about BF2 solo pilots
% and TOP- which would lead to either a ranking, or a position in the either literal or otherwise, leaderboard

None of these have any association with "piloting without an instructor" if we take the context into account. Again, you said "apples" but meant "tractor", but the context in which your words were used, people adressed and and thread posted in, again words were used, only showed that you meant "apples". If you catch what Im saying.

So your little test would be a literal failure. The fact that you cant admit that it was flawed, just shows how big of a head yours is.

Now, Im not backing down just because you think you were "clever" and even worse... "obvious". You were not. Your quote had literally, absolutely, nothing to do with anything else than BF2 solo piloting an attack helicopter. Dictionary or not, this is a videogame forum, and were discussing a videogame role, and peoples misconceptions regarding that role.

I have many failures in my life Chris, but this one's all your bro. And it's obvious that kills you, but not in a literal fashion just so were are specific.
Youre trying to pin your failed test on me. Sorry "bro", it just doesnt work that way.

Hi. Spending a bunch of time in a chopper doesn't mean you know what makes an enjoyable gameplay experience for everyone. I could use that study against just about everyone - which makes the study pretty convenient don't you think?

Lack of selfishness is a great quality in people - even in video games.

In all fairness, we're not exactly discussing enjoyment here, but rather whether or not any given person possesses the knowledge/experience required to make comments about people's ability in a BF2 heli. The study addresses this in a general way.

I won't disagree that one person's "selfishness" may very well lead to another's lack of enjoyment by way of being left out. That's just a negative side-effect, among the many positives that soloing offers.

Am I right in thinking you were talking about the "Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level and beat you by experience..." quote, waaah_wah? And yeah, it's just easier to chill and ignore misunderstandings than turn them into fights.

                    Of course.

Forgive me Jim, I didn't mean to offend you. Unfortunately, I had to point out the fact that you were (and I suppose still are, since you appear to persist in your delusion) wrong. In any case, if I'm an idiot, that must make a lot of you profoundly retarded.

You'd have to be braindead to think that your not sarcastic in that quote.

this is not gona get resolved without me filming the whole round and what I go through every time a scrub gets in the chopper with me

and Ill do this trust me, i joined a server last night, it was oman, I did infantry and tried to hold as many flags as possible but nothing which proves that you just cant do it alone

we lost them all, guess what happened when I decided to get in the MI28?

we got all flags back within 5-10 minutes and I ended up with like 90 points, I had zero when I joined and the best guy on their team had around 40, I ended up with like 30 more then him so win for me and my team

and I ran every time I heard enemy(vehicle name, troops) spotted which is not what most chopperpilots do

you are confusing evil chopper whores(mostly TWL and CAL players who consider them selves as gods).........you are confusing those guys with pilots like myself and some members here

evil is the best word i could come up with :\

Not the kind on the street corner looking to give some bj's rj's or any kind other kind of j, but the kind that uses the attack chopper constantly. I take no offense to that. I pride myself in my flying and gunning abilities cause I feel I am proficient at both. However, there is that special case that almost all chopper whores like myself find. We get in the chopper to take off, and we find there is no gunner around. So we take off anyways. However I guess for some soloing is frowned upon, and I have always wondered why.

Here are my thoughts on this topic. I do not see a problem with this. Not to brag or anything I am a very proficient soloer. Hell, taking out jets with a tv missile is not that exciting for me anymore because it is almost a routine shot. I can handle most other attack choppers with ease. Tanks almost seam easier while soloing.

If anyone else here loves to use the chopper as I do knows that about 95% of the bf2 community is worthless in the gunner seat. A chopper with a crappy gunner is worthless, and wastes a valuable asset to the team.

So, why is soloing frowned upon?

(I never redline if a gunnner does get in)
The chopper is fun. The chopper has two seats. You should stop being a jerk and use a gunner.
