We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
its like being Neo in the matrix. u have power. who cares if ur screen looks sh*tty. what neo sees is prob just that green code and gosh if i were like neo...i woudlnt be here talking on some forum.
Well i got caught hacking awhile back, why did i do it?
Because i wanted to see what all the fuss was about. It was fun at the start but i got bored very quickly, only used them for afew days and it cost me my clan and any respect people had for me. As was stated it just isn't the same killing someone that comes round the corner without them, you know they're there and it gets repetitive.
As for saying hackers are socially rejected etc, you couldn't be further from the truth. Yes a % of hackers are young teens that do it for fun and can be very annoying, but a large majority are people who have well paid full time jobs. They don't have the time to get as good as those that play everyday, they don't enjoy the game constantly getting beaten so they resort to hacks so they can enjoy the game.
And a very small % are very skilled players that use them wisely, i didn't get caught via PB SS, someone recorded me through battlerecorder over 3 rounds to prove it.
Thanks for that Ins, from that, I'd say, 'bottom line ...it's not worth it'. I think this game offers a little something for everyone, everyone should find something they enjoy, and can get good at. If you have to resort to buying a hack, play something else and save your money.
i understand cheating on other games (like grand theft auto) because you actually get somewhere and the game changes with your success. with a game like this(and CS) though, the game doesn't change at all, all you do is kill people over and over.
as for the "fun factor", how the hell is not doing anything for yourself any fun at all?
ur not doing nothing.
im sure ppl have to still click/move around and they arent invincible.
and some ppl who just use wall hacks, they still have to aim and fire.
hackers can still die. one of my friends who use to hack in cs1.6 would go onto hacking servers to have hacker vs hacker matches and then it gets interesting. there is some skill in hacking. the speed hack takes very good coordination as ive seen alot of ppl run into walls constantly with their hacks. (i dont think there is a speed hack in bf2 tho)
They don't have the time to get as good as those that play everyday, they don't enjoy the game constantly getting beaten so they resort to hacks so they can enjoy the game.
In other words, they suck.

very skilled player + hack = not so skilled of a player after all
Bottom line is, everyone does it for tons of different reasons. Whether they are bored, unskilled, or just plain as*holes. Usually its the last one. They do it because its funny to them, and they don't care how it affects everyone else's playing experience. They are selfish and inconsiderate people.
Some guy i know who hacked did it because he was bored with the game, and thus bought an aimbot and namehack for fun (yes for fun. He was a skilful player and wasn't socially retarded). He did it for a laugh. And i can see an attraction in that...
I get my laughs for free. In my honest opinion one who pays a certain amount of fee for hack whether it is out of boredness or lack of skill is still considered a retard. To waste 30 bucks on autoaim is such a waste when that 30 bucks could of helped so many in so many ways.
Cheating in life makes sense... you're skipping the game part to get the reward. But in BF2 there is no reward... it's just the game part. So I don't understand why people pay $30 (That's the price of auto-aim hack) so that they can beat everyone.
Someone who was using autoaim on wake told me that it's addictive... how can sitting at a computer watching a robot killing things be addictive?
And I know a few sites where they sell autoaim (that's where I got the price), so why doesn't EA just close down the sites?
