The problem with former cheaters is that they've already proven to have access to an unfair advantage.

As a result, it makes it hard to believe that their legitimate accomplishments were earned without the unfair advantage. We will never know, so we automatically err-to the side of caution. Thus; hes still a cheater in our eyes, even if he is repenting for his mistake.

Still; never let yourself get stigmatized as a cheater.

The best way to do that? Never cheat.

yup you are right there!, ive never cheated on multiplayer games, and never will.

i used to cheat on single player games but even then ONLY AFTER i finished it without cheats...now i dont even bother with that because i dont see any point what-so-ever, i really dont. thats right i said it. cheating = pointless

Very true. However the people i have played with since i started this game have seen me get gradually better over time, to what i am now. They're the peoples opinions i value and they believe me when i say i don't hack.

I used to hack when I played Mechwarrior. But it got old. What's the sense of playing a game if you know you can win? It takes the challenge out of it.

But still, I understand the urge to hack.

Hacking in BF2 would take most of the fun out of it IMO.................

well said chevy, im glad you feel so. i feel very happy when "ex-hackers" do not condone cheating, i realise they did it themselves but its good to know they are not doing it anymore - reformed and well done =)

Went to ESF Karkand IO...guy with support aimbotting... go to KOF Warlord, someone's behind a wall in the palace doing the same... go to Wake, someone's using command hacks.

whaaat?? all of this tonight? seriously? lol i feel bad for you - very unlucky =/ i only encounterd one suspected hacker today, luckily they left not long after i joined.

lol i play I/O sometimes - its good fun, but really thats ur choice and you shouldnt have to suffer for it, right? thats why i dislike hackers so much. like *cough* dA! *cough*

Why do people hack? Think about it why do you think? To gain better points, awards and also as they are rubbish players plus there is a site nameless that Sh*ts buy the cheats in a disk form. Funny thing is you don't know what the disk may contain maybe a nasty virus or nothing at all. Also when PB gets updated what a waste of money as they will no longer be able to play. good :laugh:

having said what i said i still think that hackers shouldnt ALL be pre-determined into the "hate zone" i have a friend who hacks in cs but id never ever report him, why? because he is one of the best guys you can ever meet. he told me that and im sure he didnt expect me to go round his back and report him lol just cause he hacks.

I dont like hackers in general because they ruin the game for me and you, but i mean they are not bad people (well not all of them) i just mean that some people who have hacked in the past (maybe they still do) for their own reasons shouldnt be judged too harshly

for example i think Ins seems like a great guy and he shouldnt be "judged" just because he has hacked - that has NOTHING to do with who he is as a person in RL, its a game and thats where the attitude stays. No matter how seroiusly you take a game the person will always be diffrent to who they are online... i know i am! (for one im very shy, can you believe it?? ) =P

well i dont want this to drag on (i hate long posts, because i know people are usually too lazy to read them). so ill just say as a finishing note:

I think that if a person has admitted to being a hacker - we shouldnt really "judge" them for it. of course if they admit to it and laugh in our faces about it like illusiong well then they can just go do Anal!
