i think its fairly easy to snipe in BF2 - i am still new to BF2, but thanks to countless hours of cs i can get running headshot snipes in BF2 - got 2 today..i still remember the second guy trying to run away from me :P

i dont fine to many problems with the hit boxes of the heads, its the body thats horrible

today i sniped 2 ppl :O xD

they were caping our flag i HS the first...then the second (a medic) came to revive him...BOOM HEADSHOT! :P

but its so hard for me to get the veteran sniper badge...the kills are quite a lot compared to basic lol

I think that headshots should be instant kills, torso shots on classes with armour should be damage, any other location should be pretty much death.

Have you seen the size of most sniper rifle bullets? Hits on the arm/leg would pretty much take it off. Try running around the battlefield after that.

yeah it would in reality leave them useless anyhow...but snipers DO kill instantly with headshot (dont they?)

Well, BF2 is not reality in this point.
I stab a guy ONCE in the a$$ with my knife and he dies.
I shoot a guy in the head with my pistol THREE times and he bunnyhops away.

That is BF2, and we have to deal with it or play PR.

Such a simple answer, aim for head, or take M24/m95/L96A1 and shoot him then finish him with pistol, it works great!
