In the end someone based rape so if they did it that time then they would do it again and they would have been kicked at the end of the day some have you are not happy cause you did something wrong and you got kicked. If you had something to say then you should of gone and put it on the moongamers site instead of somewhere else.

I rate this server with two big thumbs down. Why? Totally bias admins.

So here's the story. My friend and I were looking to play a few more rounds when the server we were in died. We usually like to chopper together but recently we've been flying the bomber for shlts and giggles. He finds the moongamers 24/7 gulf of oman server and we go in and both ended up on mec.

It is a newly started round and we were one of the first to spawn and both go in the jet. But he does not like to fly so we moved up the runway a bit so we could switch seats but before that could be done, presto some ashole rapes us off the runway with his F-35. Initially I didn't really care because I thought, hey no problem jerk, I'll make you wish you never did that. So I get in the jet and repay the shlt the favour and a minute later I got kicked for doing what he did first?!?

I rejoin the server and not only is he raping the mec uncap, but so was some sniper kid. Did the admin do anything about it with his team raping the mec uncap? Of course not, why should he care even after I tried caps locking to inform him. And it wasn't like they had all the flags, both sides had about equal amount of flags.

But hey, I guess when your admin your side is allowed to rape the enemy uncap but when they do it to you, (once I may add, I didn't get two runs done) suddenly its not so cool and the raper gets the kick but his team still continues with out the kick or a warnning.

Woah, I heard moongamers was bad before but now I got my personal experience with there server. Just thought I'd share some more tales about which servers are totally crap. Unfortunately I have no idea who was the admin on that server at the time but luckly for me and anyone who appreciates the warnning of this post there are plently of oman servers out there that are not run by moongamers.

I guess you go to Pizza Hut to complain, when you get a bad pizza from Domino's? Go to Meijers to to complain when Walmart is out of an advertised item? The fact is, if you had actually tried very hard, you would have found someone to get the problem taken care of for you. Messages by players and Admins alike, are often missed because of SPAM and in game activity messages. We are not perfect and never claimed to be. All running here to complain does, is show you are more worried about trying to hurt a reputation, than trying to make sure you are treated fairly. So, you get as you give...

You base raped and got kicked. Chances are the Admin was on the carrier or someone on Team Speak was and alerted him to your actions. Had you done the same, the other base raper would have been looked at, confirmed and removed as well. Getting kicked by the automatic language filter doesn't even register to most of us Admins, as it flies by fast and unless we alt tab, risking a crash to desk top, we won't see it in the logs. We can only Admin what we see and we can only reply to what is posted in an area we monitor, unless someone comes to tell us that someone is complaining on another forum again...

We appreciate the free publicity, keep it up, even if you did everything wrong to get your situation taken care of. If you come back and do the exact same things, I'm guessing you'll get the same results. Of course, if you joined our Team Speak or got in a squad with an Admin or REG player, you'd find someone would be willing to go out of their way to explain and correct the situation. People who would rather go somewhere to complain about a situation, than work to get it corrected, aren't doing anyone any favors. It's nice that the more things change, the more they stay the same. People always have ill words for the ones that are succeeding...

I agree, the server is bad...the admins will find loop holes to the rules, for example: you arent allowed to attack uncaps with vehicles so what they will do is take the jet and fly really low on the uncap.

Almost every other round there is the squad bug and those "REG" players really suck big time and they make the server even worse...

but then you will always see me playing on it because its the only 24/7 gulf of oman server..

Admins found "loopholes" for the players benefit, not their own. Crashing into players, wing tipping and running over players are and always have been allowed. You are also allowed to attack uncaps on foot, as a sniper and with artillery. Vehicle mounted weapons are what isn't allowed. No bombing, missiles, or shooting in or into uncappable bases on the Oman map. Other maps have different, usually less strict rules and the Oman server can have the map changed if players request it.

their server is always like that. except during the day when the kids(admins) are in school.

We have VERY few Admins that are under the age of 18 and most are much older. Maybe you should know what you are talking about, before you make a totally incorrect statement.

After I rejoined I tried to inform the admin about the raping still occuring at the mec cap, but what happened? NOTHING. So how about this, STFU and stop defending moongamers as everyone here has agreed it is a poorly admind server.

Ps. I didn't see any rules against raping uncap. I found out after I rapayed the favour the jerk that started it. Fair enough for my kick, but why doesn't he get kicked after when he continues to do it?

Just because a few misinformed or unhappy people come here to complain about MoonGamers, doesn't even begin to mean that you are correct. Fact is, your poor attitude here, goes further in showing you would have eventually been removed from the server for any number of reasons. Foul language, base raping and multiple kicks in a rather short period tells me you have no patience and a bad temper. That's a recipe for getting kicked at a lot of servers, not just one of our many MoonGamers servers. I guess because you are unhappy, we should close our 3 U.S. BF2 servers, our 1942 servers and our 4 U.S. 2142 servers. Oh yea, our Steam servers and our European servers might as well close down to make you happy, as well... We'll just forgo any new servers for upcoming games we were planning, as well. All because you came here and complained, which means you are right and everyone else is wrong.

moongayers definitely sucks, and they have some really bizarre rules on their servers. I remember one time I was kicked for commanding.

me: rejoined and ask wtf?
admin: "your not allowed to command twice in a row".
me: "I didnt even command last map!
admin: "no you cant command twice in a row, or command the same army twice in a row"
me: "so you can only command every 4th round?"
admin: yes.

The rule for commanding is 2 rounds on and 2 rounds off on Karkand and Oman. Servers that have 2 rounds per map only allowed one round on and one round off, so you don't monopolize commanding. In other words, every other round as commander, for two round map servers. Since we don't allow team switching for team balance reasons, then two rounds in a row as commander on the same team isn't allowed either, since it means you are violating two of our rules, instead of one... I have been at MoonGamers since May of 2004, which is shortly after it was formed and I seriously doubt you are very close on your example's quotes. If that is what an Admin said, then they were wrong and I would have corrected them, had I heard it. It is basically every other round for commander on Special Forces and every other two rounds on Karkand and Oman...

If you're even remotely good in a heli, don't waste your time playing there because you'll be kicked and/or banned in minutes, with an irrelevant reason to make it even better.

This is the kind of thing that will get me in trouble for replying to, but I feel strongly about the issue you mentioned. To say you are incorrect doesn't cover it. If I caught an Admin doing what you suggest, they'd find their Admin rights were gone before they knew it. Odds are you used the chopper to "Redline" someone so a friend could ride with you, you base raped by firing into an uncap or you attacked the other chopper when it was taking off. As I stated here before, complaints need to go to MoonGamers so they can get attention. It's why we have an unban area. It's where you get the chance to state your case and if you don't use it, it makes going elsewhere to complain, seem a little silly. We don't stop people from complaining and Admins are encouraged to inform players that complaints are handled at MoonGamers forums, so there is less disruption to the game.

There aren't any rules to stop you from complaining here and I suppose that it's encouraged here, which is fine with me. What's not fine with me is when I see rule breakers, people who were banned or people who don't know the facts, making baseless or incorrect statements, just to jump on the bandwagon. The only thing I dislike more than that, are outright liars who attempt to do damage, just for the sake of tearing down the hard work of others. When there are no more servers for people to play on, who will you complain to and where will you go to complain? If you keep ripping the communities that pay so you can play for free, who will take their place when server operators say "screw it" and move on? I can tell you that EA won't be footing the bill so you can play for free, but go ahead, tear down big gaming communities just so you can make us not want to spend the thousands of dollars all this costs... I'm sure someone will jump in with a money tree for ya',

yeah i like the moongamers server. i played on it alot over the summer since Gulf of oman is my fav map and moongamers is the only 64 player server that has it 24/7 and ive never really had any problems. the rules are clear, no attacking uncaps with vehicle weapons which IMO is a pretty fair rule. for the "loopholes" where pilots fly low to run over ppl...once they do that, usually on their 2nd run, ppl will grab an AT kit and take him down easily. also, from what ive seen, ppl do get warnings to let them know to stop baseraping. aalso just becuz one person baserapes once, doesnt mean u can too. in RL, not all shoplifters get arrested, and not all speeders get ticketed. its juts chance

You think Moongamers is bad, try Geezer. I just got banned minutes ago for being too good with the Su-30 in Daquing Oilfields. The reason they gave was "HAX." When I asked, all they said was nobody could make all six F18 missiles veer off. :laugh:

I've only played a handful of times on Moon before cutting my losses. Everytime I dominated, I found myself getting kicked for miscellaneous reasons. It was never for doing any of the abovementioned.

I suck up to the admins and kiss their asses haha, and I usually try to join their side/team, that way I can rape and bomb the crap out of anything I want, and I usually don't get kicked.

Who cares, the only thing that matters is that I get to enjoy it, try standing up to them and see what you get, a kick and then coming to the forums whining about it, not solving anything.
