Will You play a WWII based Battlefied Game (BF2, 4, 5, etc)?

I wonder... the strongest rumour is: BF3 will bf a MMOFPS... but this poll is to know if you will play a WWII based Battlefield 3 (like 42) but with a new engine, graphics and more gamplay options.

im having trouble understanding. are you asking if we would want to have like a 1942 revisited game where they go back and make bf1942 agin but with better graphics.

if so i might play it im not a big fan of ww2 games il ike the fell of modern combat. but iw ould rather get a 1942 game then 2142. ill say no but only because i did not like bf1942 or FH1 that much. WW2 games and futuristic games are not that new. BF2 was unique and i doubt there will ever be a game like it.

Yeah I would. It would be really fun I think. Specially with good graphics. But really, Im just gonna play FH2 for this. MODS ftw.

No, Im asking if DICE makes another BF game, based on the WWII theme, just like 1942 but with a new engine, new graphics, more gameplay options, vehicles, classes, weapons.. etc... will you play it? or you are just tired of WWII games...?

Heck yea I'd play that. Thats what I really hope for if EA/Dice create BF42 using the new engine. They could do the same with Vietnam:p it'll be awesome, without all the bugs of course...

i think WW2 games are getting spent, alot of them are bad and poorly made. MOH is getting worse with every new version, and COD is dominating the WW2 market (as it should), so i dont think they should make WW2 game, WW1 mabye. But with the pending realease of 2142, if they made another WW2 BF game they would be going back in time. I dont know how far the BF franchise can go??

YES! Kinda tired of WW2 themes, but if they do come out with a better one ( I mean graphics and all those cookies ) I will definitivelly play it... WW2 is my favourite .. Especially when Germans were using TANKS vs. Polish Cavalery :p J/K

WW1 was when naval warfar was at its finest(IMHO ) and in terms of games has not been done much until know. It offers alot of new and unique gameplay that would differ from the rest but still shine as a BF title. But as all the other have said Ill wait for the mods. There already is a few WW1 mods coming out, and WW2 ones aswell.

I'd like to see a Civil War shooter... Instead of Tanks, we could do Cavalry Charges!

They could also do the American Revolution... as I'd love to be part of an infantry line, or take part in Guerilla Warfare against Infantry Lines.

WW2 is my favourite war! of course I'll play it, but I dont think BF3 will be WW2 .. and BTW BF2142 is BF3 (or was it BF4) :p and the next BF is BF Bad Company for PS3 and Xbox360 !!!11!!!
It would be funny if the next BF will be in the Medieval age!! with archers and knights :p

WW2 game would be nice. I'd love to go back to huge, massive Naval battles at Midway.
