So it's just like firing a tv in 2142 but it moves at an easy to control pace? (the tv missile, when I quit 2142, was just too fast for most gunners).

I remember the first and last time I tried 2142...

Immediately after firing my first "TV" shot, I burst out laughing. A thought came to mind: "that's EA's way of eliminating macro users".

This is a 2v2 scrim, we each have pilots. That's how it works.
My post had nothing to do with your link. I was making/asking a general statement. I didn't even click your link. I'm not gonna' waste my time watchin' you. Nothin' I haven't done two times over.

        You're too defensive, dude.

        I'm done with this thread.

TV missile macro, link please :)

I start thinking- joytokey would work probably, should be similar with a keyboard key emulating continuous mouse clicks

That multi-.50 cal tip is true, but good luck finding such coordination and teamwork in a pub. Good pilots won't get themselves in a situation to let this happen even in competitive settings.

It's something you can do against 75%+ of pilots though, that I'll admit.

                        VOIP.

It makes sense that it'd take two people on the ground working together to effectively take down two people working together in a helicopter.

                          I agree that it works.

I don't agree, however, that it does on pilots with enough awareness to look out for situations like this and who don't fly below 100-150 altitude. Evasive maneuvers and swift counter-attacks on at least one of the attackers practically eliminates the threat...

I know it's possible, but I've never seen it executed properly... well, not on myself anyway.

It's painfully clear to me that a good player who is aware of his surroundings and situation is as close to as invulnerable as it gets.

Still... I've taken helicopters out of the sky when they were only a dark ink blot in the sky on Dalian Plant. (I did it to Churra while he was solo'ing once.)

A .50 cal surprise is a painful one indeed.
