What is the big problem with them bringing out new games?

They are here to make money... and bringing out patch after patch is not going to make them any money... they already made their money off the BF2 community, it's only dribbles from here on in...

Yes, they probably should fix the game, but besides the crashing, i personally don't think there is THAT much wrong with the game... and even once the patch comes out, there isn't that much that is going to be changed besides one new map and the crashing being fixed...

One part of DICE is working on BF2142, one is working on BF2, and most probably another will be working on BF:BC. So in theory by releasing new games it's not affecting the patch at all.

As Cold Fussion said, everyone here b1tches and moans about the patch not being released, yet when it is released, if its released with problems, they ***** and moan again.

Just wait another week or two for the patch to come out. They have to fix a few more things that have popped up. Personally i would like them to fix the bloody issues and release it half-decent rather than release it and have it all stuffed up again.

If your talking to me, then I am making an overall observation of the BF2 community. Anyways, it dosen't hurt to take EA down a few pegs, they dominate the games market WAY to much for my liking....

LOL, thats great David.

You cant take EA down a few pegs by posting in forums. They dont read, nor do they care about such a small percentage of gamers out there. Most of the kids who play games in the world dont join these forums, and dont get so emotionally involved in the titles they buy.

Thats like McDonalds changing thier menu just because the vegetarians think the food is unhelathy. McDonalds is the most money making food producer in the world, and thier food is undoubtedly the worst ever. Food for Thought?

This, all this 2142 crap. It's all there to try and make us forget about 1.4. How dumb do EA/Dice really think we are. I'm guessing 1.4 won't be released tommorow..

You do realize that EA is a huge company, with many games and resources?

problem is that "everything destructible" means the game itself is destructible aswell... and guess what... NO PATCHES FOR CONSOLES!!! hahahahahahahahahahah

and instead of crashing to desktop u will crash to your channel 1

Well it will be on the ps3 so i actualy do think almost everything will be destructible. The ps3 is going to have blue ray disks which means the disks will be able to hold a whole sh*t load of stuff. Ps3 will be a whole lot better than the 360 which a lot of people dont realize.

Oh and yes, there are patches for consoles as long as there is an online part of the game.

This is for the console though right? So its really a sequel to BF:MC

ea is in it for the money ,dice is a bunch of guys who enjoy game dev and make a life of it...same as how modders for bf2 work but we work for free..lol

I haven't eaten McDonalds for 3 years.. put my mind of Burger King also.. Only takeaways I get nowadays is Subway, or Delivered Pizza

What's stopping me putting this game down? It's free, McDonalds isn't

I don't even know why this news was announced here anyway. So that everyone who is pissed at EA/DICE can take a stab at them. If the game was like "frogger 2000" people would still b1tch, because we are a whining community that they will soon forget about. This game has nothing to do with our game, so lay off!!!!!!!!!!!!
