People like Karkand as its easy points, you dont have to go far to be in a fight, its not a bad map given you play with vehicles on like a 40 man server.

If you just bought the game, i can't deny the attractiveness of Karkand, but for some of you that have had the game for over 2 years, don't you wanna switch to different map by now? Aren't you bored of Karkand yet?

Actually Sharqi is my fav, but Karkand a close 2nd. And for reasons already mentioned, I'm not thrilled with the idea of having to drive / walk forever to get from one flag to the next, on a map like Karkand, or the middle of Sharqi (surveillance, alleyway, construction), you can basically work in a circle on foot, and never be far from the action. Maps like Fushe Pass can be fun, if you're in a helo, a jet, or in armor -- but even being in armor can suck if you don't have air support to keep the Helo from tv'ing you every 30 seconds.

Vehicles are just a bit too powerful in this game IMO.

I like IO mode a lot, but there are a lot of better maps for it than Karkand. Especially if you have SF.

I love IO because i like sniping with my l9a61 and you cant snipe tanks, apc's, or and vehicles
