We had commander zoom but it unbalanced gameplay seriously when in the correct hands, so that finally stage of zoom was removed and with that the ability to see enemy troops.

UAV is out till we decide what system will utilise it the best.

wouldnt it bee cool to have a like a field hospital, where someone could take you too & a few seconds there you get healed.

You could get that if you gather a couple of medics inside a larger building or in a well protected area. And actual commander deployable building wouldn't look so good, partly due the way light behaves on deployables but mostly because it wouldn't fit very well on around 80% of most maps' surface. At most something that resembles a pile of medical supplies deployed by a special medic class but anything more would be overkill.
Speaking of medics, I don't need a scope but a couple more smoke grenades would come in handy...

i hate the uav as it is in vanilla, i mean you can be in best spot & bamm that thing tells on you.

Has anyone seen the MoD advert on TV showing the UAV?

That would be pretty cool. I don't see how it could be implemented successfully in PR but I'm just throwing it out there.

Ya knkow what , if it was wish day, i would wish , wish , with all my heart that i could make out friend or foe more easily, i mean in real life that to me is a fact , only case would be if your with several coalitions , then fields of fire should be in place.

i know i could kill more & die less , but i just wishing.

roger, thanks , but i allready do that & 80% of time it works great, but i have had times, i like seen someone, hit spot i mean crosshair on them, nothing but the question mark shows up, but i keep my eye also on my teammates & i think "it doesnt look like a teammate to me on the mini mapp" so i spot a few times more & sometimes it will finally say "enemy spotted" & someitmes i just figure it lagg or what ever & shoot & hope for the best. so far i have had only 1 TK that i know of , i hate to TK .

the worst for me is like when you defending inside like multi floor buildings with the steps, the construction ones you know , and ppl on you so fast or runnin on outside & you get a really short time to either spot or shoot.

i mean it had to be lagg, but i'd check my ping, be like 39-50highest, i dono. i just know its hardest part about the mod for me. but im gonna keep playing if this is changed or not.:nod:

There's always the, "Shoot first, ask questions later" but I wouldn't recommend that :p. Sometimes that Q spotting doesn't work sometimes because of the much larger view distances.

yepp, i notice its worse when there far away if theres lotsa tree's around, but i've had within 20m to where when i zoom they filled inside my scope i was so close.

i guess i just keep tryn to spot, i get told sometimes "quite yacking & get off this channel" :nod:

You can also check the map or minimap for friendlies:) But ocassionally i do TK. If i see someone shooting at me i will shoot back.

i allways do that, just sometimes there kinda close & hard to be sure unless you in like a city, not too bad there. i kinda been lately gettin to a spot & looking at mapp just seein where everbody is, this helps alot.

yeah if somebodys shooting i dont wast any time at all i just consider enemy even if ther eon my team, i mean in real life i think we would do the same. lotsa friendly fire in RL and i know if i had time to react i'd shoot back.

*** ya know i was thinkin, would be nice if like one team had on hats/helmets, and oposing team had on like ski masks, that would be real easy to tell apart i think. just a thought

UAV idea: What if it just flew in a straight line across the map, and allowed the commander to zoom in on that area for like... 5 minutes?

Or, if it circled, and it gave the commander the ability to zoom in on that spot?

well its certainly not my choice , but i wouldnt have any uav , i was stalkin this morinig, they couldnt find me, felt great no uav to worry about.

i mean why not just have a squad recon the area fire is in & find the sucker(me) and kill him.:salute:
