With as many computers I've installed this game on over the past two years, and as many times as I've reinstalled it on each one...three computers...half a dozen each...I'm GLAD my "stats" don't start at zero which would be the case if they were maintained on my computer.

I'm also glad the downloader is always there ready with my patch, expansion packs and mods. ALSO, I don't think stats have much to do with the lack of teamplay. I think that is a trait of the ME FIRST, SCREW YOU generation that has descended upon us from the womb to the tomb.

OMFG!!! MY STATS WHERE UPDATED FOR THE LAST TIME A FREAKING WEEK AGO AND I PLAYED TWO DAYS AGO!!

I was just interested in what generation you are speaking of? And don't forget that YOUR generation raised all those you speak of, 25 and under.

BTW, I'm 26 so I'm not speaking defensively, just curious?

Wow, out of every other problem that is STILL in BF2, EA is the most worryed about the stats, more then anything else.

Given the widespread community demand and frustration for this stats issue to be addressed I don't think the EA reaction here is unwarranted. It's also largely our server team and GameSpy that are working on this issue, there isn't much we (DICE) can do from our end in this instance.

Incidentally, if any of you want another way to keep tabs on progress here you can visit the EA support item for this issue and use the Notify Me feature to receive an email when there's an update on the situation.

As well they should be. The stats outage is the biggest crisis the BF2 community has ever faced, not even the dark days of 1.3 produced the teenage angst we are seeing today.

I know this isn't as important as stats & awards, but i've noticed my recently visited servers dont show up, played a couple of good ones & was gonna add them to my favorites & they havent been there, i didn't think much of it till this.

Considering Quake Wars is turning out not-so-good, that would rock indeed.
