Guys cmon... You wont turn sharper if you got your sensitivity set to 10. Every jet has its own manuevrability, so no matter what your sensitivity is set to, you wont be able to exseed it. If J10 uses 3 sec to take a loop (Just an example) and F35B uses 4, you wont be able to do a loop faster than J10 even if you got all your settings maxed. Therefore, theres no need to set your sensitivity too high, it will just mess up your aiming.

But theres not really a big difference in using JS or M&KB, it just depends on how you fly. If you play more as Close Air Support, (Like me) go with a mouse since its alot easier to aim you MG. If you like to have a score like 9-0 and only shoot down other jets, then by all means use a stick.

nope wont make jet go beyond capabilities, but it will make you able to control it better by getting your sensitivity to where u can fly & u can hit something while gunning.

Indeed, you decrease the reaction time between you and the jet, and its always the best thing. If anyone has recognized a keyboard only pilot, or a gamepad pilot, knows what Im talking about.

But its always smarter just to adjust step by step increasing the sensitivity to the max.

You need a joystick for jets, plain and simple

I dunno if this has been said before, but a joystick obviously provides the user with a continuous action, pull back on it, and you can do flips over and over, with out breaking the curve.

but with a mouse, you have limited space, and will have to pick up the mouse, place it and move it. sometimes proving costly.

But i still don't use one, cos I cant afford one.

what the guy above said, it provides continuous motion in any direction

You can fly just as good with a mouse. And its easier to aim MG rounds with it

I'll be surprised if this thread turns out any differently. :salute:
exactly right, i started out soloing choppers and flying jets with joystick. then my dad smashed it so i went back to using mouse/keyboard. for chopper mouse and key is best, but u really need one to fly jets.

Harder to strafe and track with, only good to pinpoint with.

I fly the chops with mouse/kb and jets with joy/kb.
I tryed flying chops with the joy but I just cant get used to it.

I know a guy from Holland (Cors0) who fly chops with a Saitek joy and I have never seen anyone who is better when it comes to preciscion flying.
I got about 600 chopper hours so I know what I'm talking about.
I was flying a few rounds with him on Dragon as a gunner and I was impressed.

So the best chopper pilot i've seen uses a joy.

Look at some vids of him and see for urself :

In the second vid he shows his setup at the end.

I have a question, what do yaw and pitch sensitivity do? I experemened today and I couldnt tell a difference. I do play on 10 mouse sensitivity tho.
