Played few rounds on this map, it's great!!
One big issue tho - sun glare. And PLEASE, no attack choppers - it's great armor map.

i agree with you somewhat its an ok map love the huge tank battles iv been waiting for a nice tank on tank map and no attack choppers its just a way of destroying tanks and getting a million kills go play somewhere ealse jets are ok and the sun glare yes needs to be fixed

CP's are quite easy to defend against the excessive amount of tanks in the game, keeps things pretty balanced between infantry vs tank.

I like it.

But other than the advertising and the sun being in the wrong place, it's a good map!
It's like Road to Jalalabad, every one hated it at first, now they like it.

How come we never get any Chinese maps. Its always MEC. I want a map with the Su-30. Its only on one map which is hardly ever played. I want more!!!

I just tried this map, I played for 5 minutes and left.

I cant see anything from a chopper because there is a sun coming from the ground blinding me. The space between points makes this an armor whoring map. The advertising is as lame as it gets, EA knows no shame. I hate dust with a passion. All in all its a right **** up, good job.

indeed. a lot of us left CS because is was all dust. and now we come over here and 2 years later theyre shoving dust down our throats again

its took them at least 2 years to release the beta, and in this time they also released som mods and sequel to the game.

apparently the real map is gonna come out right after the j10 and g36 are nerfed.

This map is a Jihad-Jeepers dream, so many places to hide, ambush enemy columns of armor. I love it.
Without jets it would be even better.

I like the map for what it is: a tank map.

1. Lots of tanks and open spaces for good tank battles. I've even had some fun long range multi-tank battles on this map.
2.Good cover at the flags for AT or Spec infantry to work in if they can't get a tank.
3.No attack choppers, and no bombers (most important feature of the map - it's actually possible to have some big tank battles).

Yeah, I just wish the view distance was longer, I love the map but they always have to put that friggin "fog" "sandstorm" effect

I like the map

The glare was bloody awful. I could never find the US airstrip when I needed to reload. The MEC keep getting steamrolled. All the CP's are close to the US, the MEC have to travel a long way to get any. By then, the US have control.

It's an OK map. Need to move the map in a bit. Make it a bit smaller, takes so bloody long to get anywhere. :|: Great fun though coming over a hill and watching 3 tanks, an APC an AA vehicle and a dozen AT soldiers coming for you though. Definatly one of those "Oh...s**t" moments. :laugh:

As for attack heli's, nah. Armour whores need a map (that isnt inf based) to go toe to toe with each other. Tank battles were one of the things missing in BF2. Whenever I get into a tank vs tank fight on say Daquing, the other tanker or me is blown to smitherines by a jet or TV missile. Not much fun
