I tend to capture a lot of flags when I fly.

If that makes you feel any better.

Everyone has different styles of play. To each his own.

You want some cheese to go with that whine?
would you rather get killed in 2seconds from one strafe or have some nub strafe you constantly and take 1bar health each time. ive had nubs stafe me as many as 15-20times and still not kill me, eventually they ram you

i know i would rather be killed straight away by someone good than getting nubbed.

Yeah, but if you don't know what you're doing in the chopper in-game, what gives you the credibility to say that it doesn't matter how a jet kills you?

Personally, it pisses me off to no end, when I see some noob in a jet going 300 and he has his missle mode on, spamming all of his missles at me as fast as he can, while attempting to cannon me.

There are 2 things that will occur when that happens.

          1) my gunner TV's his *** right out of the sky
          2) he hits us with 2 lucky missles.

Why does it piss me off? Because 90% of the time when you come across a "pilot" like that, they will not kill you in one pass, not even two... most of the time it's a bunch of passes and in the end it is either a ram that kills you, or 2/6 missles hit you.

RARELY, do I come across a good jet pilot when I'm in a chopper that takes me out before I realize it, but when it does happen I have respect for them because I know they aren't complete retards.

Re: cutting throtle in a jet, yes or no??

AHAHHA guys I just got of Oman after raping the MEC like theres no tomorrow!!

            So then I went MEC

Now I don't mean to brag about this but this is the onyl time I've ATed a plane

So I eventually got shot down (after 22 kills w00t)

So as I waited for my plane again I went AT because I knew an AH1Z was raping our base.

Then out of nowhere I hear the exploding shells of the F35B hitting around my area...he was flying diagonoly towards me. And I Eryxed him!!!!

That is my first (and probably only) AT kill on a Jet ahahahaha!!!

Here is a picture but it's 1 second after I nailed the jerk...I never caught him in a plane the rest of the round xD !!!

THIS IS THE PERFECT EXAMPLE WHY NOT TO SLOW DOWN!!! He wasn't hoving he was going about 600-700km/h

A video I made for my clanmate. We were waiting for a 2v2 to start up and the team never showed. We got bored, and I pulled the BR.

I had fun with it, though.

Very lucky, I saw someone M95ing a J10 whore coming to baserape, and another guy got VERY lucky and took out an F-35 divebombing at full speed with the eryx.

Quite odd to think that shot you sometimes fire randomly into space sometimes nets you a kill out of nowhere, usually someone who's in a jet or heli.

I flew into a tank shell intended for someone else 3 times in a round once. Alt+F4, now I know why it's there.

Predrag, did you miss the part about slowing because of view distance on crap pc's? Is that not a valid reason?

I guess I only replied because you are of the opinion that using that tactic is being a noob, but it's ok that you play in a style that benefits mostly yourself. When you're in the chopper I know you'll make some great distance tv shots on the enemy helo taking off over their main but I also know that I won't get close air support while I try to take a flag because you aren't worried about covering me for infantry I may miss. You can be close to hovering over me but instead of getting the spec ops guy about to c4 my tank you are killing the tank 3 flags away. Now I am not gonna call you a noob or stating that those are cheap kills, I just accept it as your style and I play accordingly. Luckily I have no standard of play to live up to tho, I am just another mediocre player trying to have some fun gaming.:salute:

Re: cutting throtle in a jet, yes or no??

I would like some chopper pilots with credibility chip in to this argument. There are jet pilots that make this look very easy, where in fact it isnt. Every one of us has the skills to down a newbie flying horizontally in one pass. Take a very experienced chopper pilot into the equation and theres no way you can do it with one pass at full max speed. Apply high ping and youre bound to make at least 2 passes. Im just not believing the talk of some people here. Im not a pro with machine gun fire, but only because I rely on missiles a lot more than the gun. But flying both choppers and jets for a long time (choppers less), I can tell that a chopper pilot can fight back very hard and make himself a very hard target. You guys classify all choppers into the same group, but you should know that skilled pilots both on choppers and jets, arent easy to pick off. I still want to see someone who can down a pro chopper pilots with cannons only CONSISTENTLY with high ping with one pass.

if your stats suck, that means u suck in real life, some how games transcend reality.

seriously dude - people play the game different.

even if i'm in an attack chopper, i rarely shoot. they are called gunners for a reason.

i have a buddy who keeps his computer at my house. his k/d ratio in a chopper is PHENOMENAL, because i'm always flyin him. I don't shoot.

in addition, I simply love flying transport choppers and cappin flags.

its not all about who has "uber l337" stats. its about having fun and flying like you want to. thats what is great about the flexibility of BF games (most stat kiddies forget). there is no objective except to have fun. there is no pressure to perform. just play

(not to say you are a stat kiddy)

If my team doesn't have anyone who can fly or gun, I will solo. Quite a few jets will come my way and when they slow down, I TV them out of the air. A few people ask how I killed them and accuse me of hacking.

When I'm in a jet, attempting to take a heli out of the air, I usually never slow down. One or two passes (usually one) gets the job done. If my ping isn't good, I'll slow down just enough, but not slow enough for TV to get me.
