Im just not believing the talk of some people here. Im not a pro with machine gun fire, but only because I rely on missiles a lot more than the gun. But flying both choppers and jets for a long time (choppers less), I can tell that a chopper pilot can fight back very hard and make himself a very hard target. You guys classify all choppers into the same group, but you should know that skilled pilots both on choppers and jets, arent easy to pick off. I still want to see someone who can down a pro chopper pilots with cannons only CONSISTENTLY with high ping with one pass.

not on a server where you have to deal with two choppers flown by experianced pilots

go to DMOC for example, most of the time ull have chopper competitions, add annoying J10 whores to that and ull keep ur self busy

in addition, I simply love flying transport choppers and cappin flags.

its not all about who has "uber l337" stats. its about having fun and flying like you want to. thats what is great about the flexibility of BF games (most stat kiddies forget). there is no objective except to have fun. there is no pressure to perform. just play

(not to say you are a stat kiddy)

Notice what I said about the driver points..

A lot of driver points = an effective pilot. 1 gunner kill = 1 driver point.. So take: Driver points x 2 + kills / Deaths.

My point is, while "pilots only" don't get kills, they should have a ton of driver points. By him having not only low kills, but really low driver points, tells me he is wasting the chopper.

I have 20K driver points with ~260 hours in a chopper, on top of almost 14K kills.. That basically says he flies around with the ATTACK chopper capping flags.

I don't care about stats.. but it shows how a player plays and gives me a reference to how much I've improved over time.. etc.. In pubs, the only thing I am there to do is one thing.. kill people.. practice killing people, getting more experienced with things whether it be guns, or vehicles, or some technique.. I don't cap flags in pubs. Why? Because it is pointless.. I do it in competitions where it matters if you win or lose. The time I will cap flags though is if I'm in a pub with like 10+ clan members and cap the other team out in under 5 minutes.

When I am in a pub, I practice keeping the highest K/D I possibly can.. because if I get it higher than the last time I played, and and do that consistently, it means I have gotten better.

100 hours in a chopper. 3600 driver assists, and 3000+ kills. I used to solo a lot. :P And that's just my most used account.
