Yeah, you can just right-click the entry in the G15 LCD control panel, select 'Properties' and deselect 'Program is started by LCD'.

I thought you said this was not an Xfire thread. So why state your thoughts about it? Guess only moderators have freedom of speech huh?

Thanks, now I just need a better way to shutdown the program then ctrl+alt+del I just don't like that the program always runs.

Right-click the big red '2' icon in the tray and choose 'quit'.

If the icon doesn't show for you, then either check your Windows' customized 'show/hide tray icon settings' or simply delete the settings.dat file in the directory where you installed the app to reset the 'show icon' setting.

Has anyone had any issues with this and playing on Ranked servers? I see the directions saying install at own risk due to modifying files.

I've been using this app since I first got my G15 keyboard a while back..NEVER any issues.

In fact, the authors are in talks with the dev team as there may be some interest in including this type of feature in this or future BF games.

Hey, no problem!

The G15 should be getting more love as newer games come out.

The Prey demo has built-in G15 LCD support..very neat stuff. It shows your health, ammo, weapon, and current heading.

I´m going to give it a test with 1.4 today.
And yes, this tool absolutely rocks!

Anyone else that tested with 1.4 to notice anything not working anymore the way it used to work?
