From minute 3:00-3:13 theres no UAV up, and yet you can still see the red dots. They don't appear to be flashing either. :hmm:

I have yet to make a kill with the Sniper Rifle by aiming behind somebody. However leading a target has gotten me a some.

well as far as i can tell that video isnt edited in any way and you can clearly see with the part of the shotgun that aiming behind the moving guy actually kills him. There might be other explinations for it but from the video's i've watched that's what makes sense to me, you can form your own opinons but these are mine

I snipered a guy out of a moving Vodnik last night. It was SOOO cool! The trick is aim your rifle at a spot where you know he is going to be (adjust a tiny bit for bullet drop at a distance). Keep it steady. When the vehicle enters your reticle, fire!

Most of you are worse than eddy, by posting useless comments about his improving posts, you are only wasting peoples time.
Eddy has made vast improvements the past few weeks, don't discourage him.

Anyways:
after having gone back 3 pages to locate a topic relevant to the thread, yes, hit detection is very bad, but with the lag in Battlefield 2, it is amplified greatly..
I never snipe with ping greater than 110

i can never play below 200 for some reason, mostly cause the servers i play on are in the US and i'm from AUS

Play in AUS servers...

Also, hitboxes do lag behind, but the reason why some of you guys don't notice that is because the is bullet time for bullets in BF2, which is why you have to aim ahead for you nub snipers.

If you have the special forces expansion then Warlord is a good sniper map. If you for some weird reason dont have sf then get it! =)
