Condense your post; I'll read between the lines (if I must) and address what's needed. Until then,
Well if you read my post, I think I know why you don't want to read it. Laziness is another reason someone might not want to wait in line for a chopper. They must have it NOW.

I understand the concept, but think it's like any other administered rule, there's always gray areas.
...
Never mind. Best form a line then, and hope the person behind you doesn't TK you anyway.
My point has been on these type of topics, is to disregard the over-analyzing of these type of rules, and default to "respect others". Noone needs to define such silly rules, when common courtesy will handle it on it's own. The truth of the matter is, a player knows when he's being a jackass to another - we're all taught a sense of fair play and sportsmanship - some players just choose to ignore that for their own gain.

I suspect quantity over quality in the case of your post, so no... I haven't and won't bother reading it unless you can make the effort to condense your thoughts.

Translation: My argument isn't valid, so I'll pretend not to have the time to read yours.
I'll put in forum terms your used to then.
Most pilots suck, they are douchebags, that's the problem, making rules to solve this problem is redundant.
Don't be douchebags, problem solved.
How's that for being succinct?
Care to address that? Oh mighty forum member with not enough time to read 4 paragraphs?
If this isn't generally true about pilots then how come the rest of the vehicles in BF2 are not fought over and need no additional rules as to how they are acquired?
Re: whats your opinion on "wait in line" rule
There are just as many pilot-douchebags as you can see on the field. Youll see the same selfish behaviour, just directed into something else. Time to take off those eyepatches.

was playing on some server a few days ago and got kicked for cutting the line, this and "squad up or get kicked" rule are some of the most stupid rules
this rule is also slowing the game down alot
my opoinion is that its gay
but it does have upsides i have to admit.
if there is a long line then the dedicated whores will ALWAYS be in line no matter how long it take, all the newboes and newcomers will say this sux and ground pound.
Re: whats your opinion on "wait in line" rule
If there's a bunch of people waiting, I usually say screw it and go fight on the ground. If I notice after a while there isn't any dogfighting going on above I might spawn myself at an airfield next life and check if I could get in a plane again. Of course if the people fighting over the plane are a bunch of asshats I join in and try to steal it from them for my own amusement
I usually try to pick servers with less people playing though, so this isn't usually much of a problem for me. I like servers with like 10/32 playing air maps, everybody drives around in tanks or flies, lots of targets, more fighting, less point-whoring asshats, no waiting for planes (or people generally pay attention to chat so you can ask if you can have a turn and people respond), more fun :)

Actually, I didn't read it.
"Don't be a douchebag"... that's his point after 16 lines worth of text?
Don't be f*cking hypocrites. How's that? Your personal pleasure comes at the detriment of your team and you say I'm selfish for taking the heli and doing a better job?
ROFLMAO. OK. Winning is all that counts and if I have to step on your toes to achieve that end, I will. Call me selfish if you want :)

um...ok, your selfish. Thats exactly what selfish meens pretty much. You basically proved my point. I don't think you really understand what the word "selfish" meens either. If your calling me selfish for being in support of the wait in line rule, then I KNOW you don't know what it meens. Here's some defenitions to help you out a bit:
selfish: concerned chiefly or only with yourself and your advantage to the exclusion of others.
-devoted to or caring only for oneself; concerned primarily with one's own interests, benefits, welfare, etc., regardless of others. -characterized by or manifesting concern or care only for oneself: selfish motives.
Key ideas being you think of YOURSELF at the EXCLUSION of OTHERS. I am the oppostite of that since I want other people to get a chance at the vehicles, not just me or one person. Your just trying to justify your actions by finding some fault in my views. Try harder next time.
By the way, I went back to look at my post to possibly condense it for you.....but there's no way Im doing that. Its 2 freakin paragraphs. If you can't read that, or just don't want to, then there is no point in you being in this thread. If you want to keep arguing without making the effort to listen to other peoples opinions, then move along. Im not going to dumb down my post and take you valid ideas just because YOU don't want to read them (again being selfish). Then again, you might not even be reading this right now. Or maybe you are, but your going to say you didn't because you have no way to disprove what Im saying.
