was playing on some server a few days ago and got kicked for cutting the line, this and "squad up or get kicked" rule are some of the most stupid rules
this rule is also slowing the game down alot
If someone is standing around, waiting for any vehicle, they are wasting time and are not contributing to the game. They deserve to be kicked. I also believe in the squad thing as well. If you aren't playing in a squad, you most likely aren't playing as a team player. If you aren't playing as a team player, you aren't playing in the spirit my clan likes to play in.
Luckily for these smacktards, under the TOS, I can't kick someone simply for not joining a squad or for waiting for a vehicle.

True. Sometimes being the better man, and trying to set an example goes unheeded. I'm not so sure that stooping to their level does anything to improve the gaming community's experience though..
Re: whats your opinion on "wait in line" rule
But who is to say its thier chopper? it may be anoying if you are waiting for somthing and somone just jumps along and takes it , but hey its bf2 what do you expect?
Re: whats your opinion on "wait in line" rule
I don't wait for planes much so I wouldn't know but..........
I can't imagine who ever gets in first, doesn't eventually just work itself out.
With no TKing (that's a big if from what I've been reading), wouldn't the average of when and where you happen to spawn and where and when the vehicles spawn, end up being the same for everyone? Maybe not right that instant, but through the course of an entire round I would think it would just be a roll of the dice.
That's how it is with ground vehicles. Sometimes they are there, some times they are not. Sometimes your about to get in one and some one spawns closer and get's it. Sometimes you spawn closer and get it. I don't see how this doesn't apply to air vehicles.
When you make you way over to the air strip/chopper pad, and there's two people there already, who's to say who was there first? Or who is second out of the other two? Unless you replay a BR there's no way to know for sure. Seems like an easily debatable and circumvented system with out extensive monitoring by the admins.
As for squads.......
I squad lead a lot. I think it's the way the game is played best and most effectively. But I don't think it should be mandatory. When it's mandatory some people join squads and wonder off by themselves anyway. They have no intention on playing as a squad member, they're just simply trying to comply to the rule. A squad member isn't one, if he doesn't want to play like one.
I'd rather have a squad I can count on spawning on me, sometimes, or when I ask them to, rather then members who I can't rely on to ever spawn on me or help out. They play as lone wolves so they might as well stay that way.
There's good lonewolf players who are quite effective as snipers, AA, engineers and just flat out grunts on their own. I think they would do better in a squad, but it's not as if they are contributing nothing. They're sniping, killing, mining, what ever.
If anything they should form a squad and lock it with them in it. That way they can receive orders (mining, demolitions, etc) from the commander.

Easy.. the 2 of them were before you... As in who takes the plane/chopper first between those 2, its up to them to decide..

Oh, I'm sure it hurts the community's experience, and it's a terrible thing to do. My own personal entertainment comes before that of other people's though, and if somebody is going to C4 me, TK me, etc to try to get a vehicle I won't stand idly by because of principles. I'll do the best I can to secure the vehicle for myself, even if it means using the same stupid tactics as the other guy was using against me.
I think I portrayed myself as being a bit harsh, if somebody shows some common courtesy I usually open up to sharing with them. This tends to be rare though, and I imagine it's even worse when fighting for a J10. I usually play US because I figure most of the kiddies will probably go china for the J10 and also for the higher turnover rate of planes Most F-35 pilots don't last long against J10s which lets me get up sooner / have more chances for a plane at least.
Re: whats your opinion on "wait in line" rule
Well I suck at flying Jets, Choppers FTW.. So if I get a Jet I give it to someone that knows how to fly, and is skilled also and not a guy that has no respect. But it's not like all 'less skilled' players should get away and just sit there. People, Have fun.
Re: whats your opinion on "wait in line" rule
Does anyone know how it's decided who gets in the vehicle first if everyone is holding e? It's not ping, which I originally thought it was because I can have a lower ping than people and they get in before me.. (even if im standing in the right spot)

hey someone has to fly the chopper, why waste the most powerfull vehicle in the game
about squads, I agree squads are more fun but I dont wanna be forced to squad up, Im not bragin but alot of times I do better alone then my whole team
this is why operation clean sweep is one of the most balanced maps when it comes to vehicle sharing, the vehicle spawns back again before you respawn, I enjoy playing that map even tho I know I wont be getting in that chopper every time
onthe other hand wake is a pain in the ***, by the time that chopper spanws ull have a TK war going on
Re: whats your opinion on "wait in line" rule
How can you call the "squad up" rule stupid? You get more points if you work as a 'team' so to speak. I find most squads I join do work together, last 3 games I went into a squad all 6 of us stayed together the whole map, untill the end of the 3rd round when me and a fellow clan member went rouge and kept the USA at bay on karie up at hotel as they took care of buisness acrossed the river. [got kicked for "Cheater > Statspadder".. silly germans]. As for the wait in line for the jets/helo's.. I think ea need to come up with some way to acknowledge the good pilots..and only let them fly. Also, it is rediculous at the start of a map like wake island.. every tom **** and harry is trying to jump into the same jet when they dont get it they try to blow it up. But in my opinion..if you dont get the jet at spawn, dont bother waiting just hop in the blackhawk and go for the ground attack. Your just wasting a slot on the server sitting waiting for a heli. Both rules I think in general make sense.
