I hate to say it, but drop your attitudes, Sloi, your a great chopper pilot, and Dairuka is just trying to get better at soloing for some godforsaken reason. He just wants eveyone to know it. I am sure he will do fine as he seems to be capable at any part of this game.

Can he keep up with the best? NO, not right now, but give him some time. I bet he will do just fine...but since he no longer groundpounds, means I take him off my buddylist...unless he actually wants a gunner lol.

Choppers can take out jets in the air, just gotta get two or three hits on them when they fly in a perfectly straight path towards you. I've done it before, it's not that hard.

Good for you. I've never, as far as I can remember, been shot down in jet by a chopper after my >200h as an average jetwhore. I would call it luck, but of course, most people call it skill if, or when, they manage to do it once or twice in a lifetime.

And as always, if you've been lucky enough to face those crappy pilots that like to fly in a straight line towards your rockets with gleaming fragcounters in their eyes, the more for you. Personally I'd take my time and run a few more passes and see you, rather than me, go down in flames.

In all fairness, 15:1 KD in jets isn't exactly average, Hiljane. Most jet pilots have a considerably lower KD than that and along with it, a much lesser chance of successfully taking down helis efficiently.

I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I'll have to if no one steps up to the plate.

Sure whatever mate, but picture this. What's so special about soloing that is different of being proper copilot. A few macros or lining up left is the key. Wow I'm impressed. Too bad it looks crap when they toss around freeless.

With teamwork there is so much more involved, you can line up shots perfectly and head for cover. You keep in control and can dodge everything.
For soloing you need to at least have good height to be in control.
And still you don't really know which direction you go to. But I guess that doesn't matter. Tbh I don't really know anything about this sort of cheat gameplay. I just play proper game. But I really hope you prefer to have a good copilot then to be soloing. And then again you don't really know in advance if you have good copilot. So it's all a joke really.

well on Krackhouse Wake server tonight I could not find a pilot to save my life, all the GOOD pilots were on the other team, I had 4 pilots that took me straight into the water on take off, and 1 good pilot that would do ok until he heard the alarm........instead of using flares and dodging, he BAILED, thats right MY PILOT BAILED!!!!! 3 times!!!!!
so I figured Fvck it and I went on a solo spree, got my veteran heli badge on a solo TV shot on another helo, and god dam did it feel GOOD!!!!!!!
Im not the best pilot, but I KNOW how to set up a good gunner, and Im not the best gunner but I CAN use TV once in a while if I got a good pilot
Im not patting myself on the back or anything, but I must say that I have improved ALOT in the past few weeks and have even been complimented on my TV usage a few times
dont get me wrong Gue, I would much much rather be a good pilot/gunner team but it seems hard to find a pilot that doesnt crash on take off or a gunner that doesnt insist on using MG on armor

Gue, I'll try to be as respectful as I possibly can: you are wrong, period. If you wish to understand why, look through my post history and you will find the relevant material. It shouldn't be too hard because I'm a broken record and post only in helicopter-related threads. You haven't seen proper soloing, and it shows... or, you could always take a look at my videos. Churrasco, runitsyourmomma and a few others have posted similar content in the media section. I'm in a hurry to pack a few things before my flight, but I'll come back in this thread and answer more properly if you don't care to peruse my post history for the specific info...

I'm not going to excuse myself for not being comprehensible. Not everybody here speaks English on a daily basis you know. The point was that you won't be downing any decent jet pilot with a choppers rockets or cannons. If you do, it is much more luck than skill. Downing rookie pilots requires absolutely no skill at all and feeling good about oneself when managing to do that is sad.

I do not need a j10 to down solo helo pilots, nor do I need it to down other planes, nor do I excessively spam missiles. Being average and all, I still have some skill and decency. No, I do not fly against the j10 in a f35, and most people know exactly why, except for the random j10 fanboy.
