Sloi, as a pilot who's surely run into a few mentally inept gunners, you can't honestly mean that.

I can most assuredly tell you upfront that even if they're not 'your' kills, you've certainly damn well earned them.

Considering they only give you 1 point, instead of 2... to exclude them from any efficiency report is a little insulting at best. Pilots get the short end of the stick as it is.

I don't see what the deal is with this cheap soloing. It's so silly. All I ever see them do is go very high so they can solo better. When they shoot they're sitting ducks hanging still with obvious movement.

If you're good in TV then be copilot and if your pilot is not good then so be it. That's what makes a team better or not. Get a friend to fly with you if you wanna fly that much. The game was not designed to allow soloing. TV is very effective in good hands but you guys are exploiting and abusing it. It's very good but in trade you'll need to use good teamwork to achieve that. But no, people rather take every advantage out of it. And suck it dry.

There's already enough grief for who wants the chopper and you guys wanna even solo. That's just pathetic. Your'e fooling yourselves just like the thread starter. He's annoyed that he can't have the chopper while he solo himself. How stupid is that.

I keep giving example that you can fly with everybody. If he's not good then get the kills yourself. Go into close combat with another chopper. Come from higher angle and he can't get you with TV. I learned how to kill a chopper with one set of missiles.

But sure keep your eyes closed and don't be open for that. Keep sitting in your chopper high in the sky to get those precious kills. And ofcourse get annoyed when someone else tries to join you. Perhaps they should make cobra one seat chopper. That would be cool.

Btw I could find million reasons why it's not good. But I don't need them. I just think it's plain ridiculous. How lame to switch seats in air. If there was no way to do soloing in first place noone would complain why they can't be one army chopper. It's just a cheap exploit that everybody got used to.

You're a f*ckin' moron and I want nothing more than to put you back in your place, but I'll give someone else the opportunity.

I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I'll have to if no one steps up to the plate.

Well, since when I became a parameter ... LOL =P

I don't care much about dying in a helo as I did before; and as I said I am now flying more often than gunning (smaller KDR). Yes, I do have a lot of deaths, but I can surely say that my gunner/pilot played a major role in most of them - or I got killed before taking off.

I've never cared too much about deaths anyways. Especially when I groundpound, you'll see I die A LOT - but I still get a considerable number of kills and that still places me among the top when you press tab. That's point/killing efficiency and I've always played with that in mind - this is also why I like full servers - you'll die a lot more, but you'll also kill a lot more.

btw I did my first succesful solo attempt yesterday, took out a tank and got 2 kills, I was pretty stoked that I was able to pull it off and after flying in a helo with a bunch of idiots that would rather do stunts than combat for the last week I can honestly say that I can see why you guys would prefer to solo, if I was ALOT better at it I would do it more myself

Congrats man, welcome to the dark side. :)

As your confidence and soloing skill increases, you'll find having to pick up "unknowns" an unacceptable risk. Another thing, staying high is for amateurs so you'll want to fight head on with the rest of your team... lest you want to prove nubs like Gue right.

The reality is, good soloers don't ever go higher than 125 altitude... we're in the thick of things, removing armor and helis all over the place. If you want good advice, check out Churrasco's videos and mine as well.

Yea soloing's pretty cool, better than lining up some douche who fires at a fu**ing MI-28 with the guns. Just swing your nose left of the intended target a little before switching seats.

Re: Flying and gunning is easy.

I solo all the time, the only problem is that there are too many bad pilots and bad gunners that see you go over to the helipad, there ends up being 2-3 bad players waiting for the chopper you died in by some "accident" ram. They try to take it from you. I end up in the pilot's seat, him in gunner, of course he won't get out. They don't know how to TV so they just open up on a chopper with the turret, basically warning a the other chopper you're there. Oddly enough, these exact players are snipers. Snipers normally aren't very good team players.

If you're waiting ten plus minutes for a chopper, you're not doing anything for your team and might as well just play singleplayer. I'm not even joking, I bet you suck at flying and gunning to add to it.

lol yeah I found out what its like to have a TERRIBLE gunner tonight, the guy would fire TV missles and they would go straight, he asked why he wasnt hitting nothing LOL
I told him and of course he didnt listen, he used the TV on infantry and the MG on tanks and helos..............we died alot and I couldnt get rid of him

I hate to say it, but drop your attitudes, Sloi, your a great chopper pilot, and Dairuka is just trying to get better at soloing for some godforsaken reason. He just wants eveyone to know it. I am sure he will do fine as he seems to be capable at any part of this game.

Can he keep up with the best? NO, not right now, but give him some time. I bet he will do just fine...but since he no longer groundpounds, means I take him off my buddylist...unless he actually wants a gunner lol.

I'm not trying to become the best. I'm just trying to hold my own, so I can live up to my own statements about versatility. I quite honestly do not enjoy Helicopters as much as flying Jets or Ground Pounding. There are too many uppity people revolving around Attack Helicopters.

Once I hit 50 hours and get my veteran badge, you'll see me shift towards Jets. I do plan to return to Groundpounding as soon as I set myself up for a pretty silver Star Badge when I hit 180,000. Something which you should understand, since you've obviously gone through what I'm going through.

I may return to helicopters someday; but it won't be a daily thing. It'll be more of a play with a buddy on X-fire only thing.

I like solo-chopper pilots, an easy kill for an average jetwhore. The best part 'bout the them is that only a competent jetwhore from their side can save them from an average enemy :)

Choppers can take out jets in the air, just gotta get two or three hits on them when they fly in a perfectly straight path towards you. I've done it before, it's not that hard.
