i think it goes without saying that u suck and got no skill if u must resort to bunnyhopping......

not only is bunnyhopping ineffective, but its the opposite of actual tactic....any idiot can run away hopping like a tard......skilled players can find cover and fire upon their enemy....

i dont care how good u are....if u resort to bunnyhopping and call it a tactic, then you suck asss.....and should learn to aim and shoot, not flee and jump

Personally I have never bunny hopped or dolphin dived, and cannot really see a time when I'd need to lower my standards of play doing so.

I think people need to stop worrying about kill/death ratios and stats, and focus on fun - is it really enjoyable to you lot to bounce away from danger like you're on springs? I'd much rather sprint for my life, or try to side-step as much fire as I can (hopefully making it to cover) that is far more fun imo!

And if I get killed - so frigging what, there's a good chance I'll respawn in a few secons anyway :p

Recently, say the last 20+ hours of play, I have opted for avoiding fire using a rapid left/right pattern, using quick mouse movement - it has worked really well and allowed me to get up close enough to the target to kill or to at least hit them.

I have taken out quite a few tanks and APCs with said tactic and have had a couple of those I killed congratulate me on the kill - rare in BF2 I know, but it probably made a nice change for them; not having to kill someone bouncing around like a mad hatter.

Anyway, until either a mod or an official patch adds a 1-2 second delay between jumps, servers have the right to stop people from bunny hopping, and for those who cannot play without it, do the rest of us a favour and leave.

Instead of bunny hopping why not NOT run into the crowd like a fking fool get one kill and get killed while bunny hopping away? Put some thought into the game and think of some proper tactics.

As for CAL and other clans getting 5k lol... good for them but unfortunatelly, that IS what they have to do because that's how they play it... which is sad but whatever.

You're funny. - Mate, I'm not even gonna argue with you. You will obviously defend your way of playing, which is fine. But I will always think that bunny hopping and dolphin diving are one of the most retarded things in this game.

I don't go to a server and expect to see a bunch of characters HOPPING ABOUT, just imagine it in your head, see what it looks like, a map full of twats jumping around like in some Mario game.

no when you are taking fire, you suck if you jump around like a fool......the better players will take cover and fire back....killing their enemy.....not hoppin along like a douche....out in the open vulnerable and unable to fire

This is such a one dimensional, unrealistic argument it barely deserves a response. There are thousands of situations you can find youself in during the course of a round, and taking cover and firing back just does not encompass them all, not even by a close margin.

There's this guy that plays on one of the servers I frequent,, all he does the whole time is complain on ingame chat about bunnyhopping, and spamming, and pretty much everything else in the game. Why even play if all you're going to do is cry the whole time? On a side note, I always find it funny when you see someone crying about bunnyhopping during the game, and see...

Any idiot can bunny hop. Bunny hoping is about automatic reaction. It's hard to bunny hop at first, because you might hesitate before doing so. But when you've mastered it, you'll do it on insinct without even thinking. Any idiot would use any technique they could to avoid fire. Alpha cue, in reality, if you "go for cover and fire back" you'll die if your facing even the most least experienced player. JUST FACE IT: YOU CANT BUNNYHOP SO YOU GO AROUND COMPLAINING. HOW BOUT YOU MASTER THE TACTIC YOURSELF, AND MAYBE YOU'LL LIVE LONGER, AND NOT HAVE THE TIME TO TYPE 'noob bunnyhopper' WHILE YOUR RESPAWNING. If you had any common sense, you would know that bunnyhoping does evade fire. Whats harder to shoot? an object going in a linear path or wavy path? think a little.

ALL IN ALL: BUNNYHOPING IS FOR PROS, AND I ENCOURAGE IT. GO AHEAD AND NOT BUNNYHOP BECAUSE "its cheap" or "its noobish", ill be the one with a better k/d ratio and more points. If you say that bunnyhoping doesnt make it harder to kill someone, then WHY ARE YOU COMPLAINING.

I bunnyhopped a million times today...
I lived alot of the times I bunny hopped away...
I was gonna run, but my outrun a bullet button was broken...for some god awful reason a bunch of guys missed me when I was jumping..so did a few tanks.
I know it was really chessy, but it was I use my chesse or wait for the guy with the insta heal medic pack next to him and his 36E to use his chesse.

I did play before those patches, and it was even more retarded how everyone used to jump around dolphin diving and shoot, it was stupid. And the current situation with bunny hoppers is stupid too.

I'm not whining, I'm just expressing my oppinion on bunny hopping. So stop with all this whe whe whining and other cheese crap bullsh|t mate.

You play your game the way you want to I play my game the way I want to, fair deal - but I will always think bunny hopping is retarded and laugh at them when I kill them while they do it.
