Re: Unlocks noob or not noob debate

Wait, I have the answer to everything! Think of matches...you can't use unlocks. So if you're in a league with your clan, you'll tend to use unlocks less. I use the F-200 in very rare occasions, or the L9 when I snipe, if I snipe. But I stick to the stock weapons for my more played kits. M16, AK-101, and AK-47 are the most used weapons. Medic and Assault kits. People who use L8's are either incredibly good, or spray'n'prayers. But if you're in a league, you're much better off using stock weapons, even when you pub, because you have to use them when it matters most. The only real advantageous weapon is the DAO-12, but it has no long-range capabilities.

The biggest problem with accuracy in BF2 is that the developers use random deviation instead of gun recoil to compensate for the fact that aiming with a mouse is easier than aiming with an actual gun. And the random part of random deviation is what's bad - anytime a game relies on random calculations to determine how a player's input affects his or her environment, any skill that player has may be negated by the inherently unreliable nature of the game's calculations."

this is probably why the g36e is so good because the bullets actually hit where you aim.
Can anyone confirm if this random deviation thing is true? because if it is then probably 50% of peoples kills, especially with assault rifles, is based on random luck. The G36E is probably the only gun that works properly in vbf2 which is why its hated so much, some of you make that gun out to have heat seeking bullets or something lol. basically if you have a good aim you will own with that gun, if you have a bad aim you will miss all day long.

All weapons in every single sane game has random deviation. More or less. Even OFP has some, because bullets are not laser beams. In BF amount of random deviation depends greatly from certain things. And if you compare M16 and G36E, you can see there's no real difference.

i can point and shoot majority of the guns and they still hit 1st - 5th shot (by that time the persons usually dead), i just dont "pray and spray" untill im really close to the enemy

For some reason I consider players with stock weapons much better than unlockers. Maybe it's because those do not pose a threat to me, unlike stock weapons users, because they might be smart enough to beat me I don't know if it's because those players never use unlocks or because unlocks aren't that good. But let's face it. Only unlock which probably can outgun a stock weapon is G36E? And why's that? I really don't know because I find even M16 far better. Simply put: if you use unlocks you'll never be considered above average public fragger. If you don't, and instead DAO or P90 you frag with MP5 and M16 you're immediately a better player, since you may even know something because it's possible that you have experience in organized match's and tournaments and teamplay.

And truth is that constant 32vs32 fragfest will quickly melt your brains. And isn't that what most unlock noobs mostly do? And when was the last time you played 16p?

And btw: I have played a lot with G36E and it's absolute opposite of M16. There's nothing common in tactics with those weapons. And after all, Any weapon kills with two headshots and if you become good enough to aim for the head, it's only that what matters.
canada...CANADA LOLZ no wonder the glithces run rampid.

people that use stock weapons arent any better than unlock users all it means is they prefer a certain type of weapon, alot of you stock supremacist have the mentality "am i depending on unlocks for skill? are they better? what happens if stats get wiped and imlose unlocks...will i suk? and as a result you stick with only unlocks.

for the same reason some prefer m4 over m16 or scar-l over g36c is the laser sight to get our unlocks we spent awhile with stock and then we pick one unlock but when we play every other kit we live with stock and then anothe runlock, in the end we spend a while with stock and you dont forget how to use stock because its like riding a bike and we often pickup stock when say reviving your former squad medic.

unlocks for the most part arent better or worse(aside from l96,mg36,g36e) their different.

people want a DIFFERENT type of weapon that is used in a way that better supports their fight style dao maybe a big spray and pray gun(i hate the thing) but some people like heavy arcade games and as a result love spray and pray.

after starting this thread i did play exactly 5 rounds with no unlocks and i did just as well aside from playing on maps when i snipe, just cant get long range killz with svd) but i still like my unlocks alot more than stock.

Sometimes i think they sent amish people disguised as bf2 players just to piss us off and make us hate unlocks then bf2 itself...get with the times

and buddy i rarely play 32v32 because of the lag and the frag.

i generally operate in 20v20 or under.

                  Of course!

It must be the frigid cold air of Canada that prevents the developers from typing as well as a developer from Miami would! This must also explain the poor design choices, and code implemented by the Swedish developing company who created BF2. Thankfully the cold weather helps keep our minds on our schoolwork, so we can learn how to spell properly. Literacy is fundamental afterall.

Then again, it could be EA's mismanaging the development of BF2 that has caused nothing but pain and strain over the course of a year and a half since it's release, and not DICE Canada itself.

As a person who has co-created at least a half dozen mods over the course of my lifetime, I can most certainly tout that it is not easy making changes to a system of code that you did not create.

To this day I don't understand why people are angry at DICE itself, when EA is the one at the helm wearing the big-boy pants.

joking aside, i think that theres been that many patches that the gameplay is in some cases irreversable and to make the changes that people want is impossible down to the amount of crap in the coding. then again i know jack sh1t bout that kinda stuff so its just a guess

cool..ppl if u have works or school plz find time 2 post!

try this if ur school has blacks, type in ur username at google or a search engine and then click a link to a THREAD that youve posted in, sometimes this willg et around it but it wont let u on homepage of site..might not work but try.

k not more OT back to unlocks being for pros and newbs despite what stock supremacist say.

btw the reason bf2 will be much more fun 4 me is because i dont play for stats or competion i play 4 fun competion dies after bigger better games come out, stats die when you reach top...fun is always there and thats y unlocks r 4 casual and hardcore gamers and newbs and pros.

if you say they are noobish, screw you. everyone prefers different weapons.

for example, i would take the m4 or ak-74 over the SCAR any day, but theres no way i will use anything other than f2000 for assault(unless i feel like changing it up).

id also take the m11-87 over the jackhammer or mp7, but the MEC shotty blows, in which case i would take the mp7.

any weapon can own in the right hands.

preach it, fire in 2-3 round burst and fight the recoil and i can get f-2000 to own g36e anyday.
btw those flashbangs awsome...i see no reason in spammin 4 nades to kill 2 guys when u can spam 2 bangs( with a few yards between the landing spot of each) and rush in to kill 4. also wen someone is under flash they tend to run away because they know ur coming ill find them around a corner waiting 4 it 2 wear off.

tbh.....if not unlocks this game would be soo boring...its fun to switch up weapons at occasions. Btw some1 said "unlocks for people who can't aim" well if you can't aim then unlocks are NOT for you...because they don't do that much spray damage.
