Filefront. Download speeds make it as good as streaming. :)

I'd rather fly alone then with a noob gunner/pilot. I have flown with a lot of people, and guess what either they go straight for the ground troops ignoring any chopper above which I'm spotting like a madman without any response from the pilot. Or when im pilot and the damn idiot cannot even hit a tv missile:cry:

If you have skill, you can fly with me. But if you suck I will just let you fly alone if you are so destined to get in it.

I really don´t understand this kind of reasoning...so if you suck as a ground pounder then you kick him of your squad?
Best if you suck you should go to the other team...or not play at all?

I played with excelent pilots that could withstand my noobish act and taught me how to fire, and gave me time to learn...nowdays I don´t play as a gunner because of people like you.

If you are trully good at flying adapt, playing this game with guys that suck is normal, this is an online game, there are good and bad playeres.

Your results and survival are not dependant as much on a newbie squaddie.

            His reasoning is perfectly valid.

The thing is, it's not necessarily our job to teach you how the gunner's tools work. Additionally, we may be in situations that make learning impossible: when an enemy chopper is firing TV missiles at you and a jet is making runs at the same time, it's hard to focus on the beginner in the front seat.

You can't always adapt to the situations at hand... unless you're referring to delaying an inevitable death. The only tip I can give you is to play in "high points" servers when the vehicles aren't being used: bring a friend to fly you along and take shots... otherwise, learn in single-player. :)

Yes, if im a squadleader and i've got a well coordinated squad with 1 guy playing rambo and not doing anything good he will get kicked from my squad.

And learning to fly/tv should be done in single player. We're trying to win a game here? I have had my share of people who I've told to fly higher and whatnot, if they listen cool... But most of them don't even pay attention to you and fly into the same death again.

Additional suggestion. Single Player, Dragon Valley. Youll learn first hand to make shots from non-lined up positions and whatnot. I learned my gunner basics in SP because I knew better than irritate pilots with ny newbishness. I could, and so can you. You ask for understanding, give some in return.

Then you would have to fly very high, to be able to fire the TV-missiles. Interesting.

I am 100% behind you, the first steps should be in single player, but you know that you can´t learn to be a good gunner if you train in SP.
I think the problem now is that good chopper pilots are so good that don´t give the benefit of a doubt to a medium gunner.

The only place i paly with a Chopper is in my clan server (it´s a private server), but I miss maybe 30-40% of my shots...if I did this in a public server people would start to complain an the fun factor I could have flying would be zero....so I don´t fly.

What i am saying is that you guys fly a lot, and you should at least don´t mind to spend a part of your time (also depends how much time you play or if you don´t mind to lower your SPM) playing with less skillfull gunners instead of getting of the chopper (at least you don´t tk, some people do it).

P.S. - As I don´t fly a lot, I don´t really know the degree of frustration you guys can have with a newbie gunner...so maybe you are right, I am just giving the other sides view.

Wrong. SP trains extremely well, provided that you do meet these requirements-
                            *Play in low pinged servers
*Have hardware to support non-laggy gameplay

If you dont meet the second of these requirements, you shouldnt sit in the gunners seat at all. I can hit targets with 90% chance in SP, but lag lowers it to 30%-40% in MP. Just because I dont have hardware to support my play.

Low ping can be overcome, skills can be gathered in SP. Take your time, learn and practice on your OWN expense and not on anyone elses.

Nobody hates a gunner that misses, people hate gunners who show no potential. No potential at all.

Frankly I dont fly choppers because of this same reason, I hate teaching newbies. After teaching tens and tens of newbies just to play one roudn with them, things get irritating. Ive done FAR more than theres done for me.

Aiming is totally different in SP. The TV-missile is so much more responsive

The reason why you think SP is so much better is because ping and lag will affect your MP game.
