    Re: Solo Helicopter?

seat switching is lame and it should be fixed, its just an exploit that some kids use because they think that the chopper is theirs only and doesnt belong to no one else. its the most anti teamwork tactic i've ever seen.

i prefer planes alot more then choppers but still i see this happening all the time with these kids going solo on choppers and when i hear alot of "name calling " i know the solo pilot crashed the chopper on purpose just to make the other guy leave.

its lame, its stupid, and who does it can try all they want but they will never have an excuse.

excuse? not really, but the reason, I can switch and hit tanks/helos easier than some noob who dosent know 1) tv missle exsists 2) u need to keep clicking button 3) a pliot that has no idea u need somewhat lined up to hit with the tv

          Re: Solo Helicopter?

i think soloing is fine as long as one doesnt force OoB punish, teamkill, or leave someone behind who is requesting a ride....i dont see what the big deal is with picking up a noob gunner......its not a real battle.....its a game....and if you cant share apart of the game with other ppl who payed for it too then you shouldnt be playing, you should be revisiting elementry school 'social skills' class....

soloing is fine if no one else wants to fly......

seat switching is necessary when going against a skilled two man heli crew....its necessary to stay alive...and its the only instance in which i would swap seats.....i think its stupid to do it to avoid a lock......and that should be addressed, as well as being able to switch FROM pilot seat while airborn...aside from that, there is no issue.....solo-pilots should be good enough to take care of business without switching seats......if not they can practice or pick someone up

            Re: Solo Helicopter?

It's lame...just like the non-team oriented players who do this. An exploit that will hopefully be fixed.

Most soloers have or do TK to solo too, so yet again this is an issue about the character of a person.

              Re: Solo Helicopter?

The strange thing about seat switching is that it DOESN'T break the lock. The AA and jets still think they have lock, but missiles tend to just fly off into space.
I can solo the chopper fairly well, I just don't agree with exploiting the bug.

Oh, why the f*ck do I bother: only the people worth a damn understand what I'm trying to convey.

Another example of someone who thinks that their skill is so superior that because they are the pilot your allowing us to win the round. Can you please come play with me so i can win all my rounds too? That is if you would allow me. Get over yourself man.

The thing is, ANYONE can solo good. It's not hard, these "soloist" think that they're part of some kind of "elite" secret society that are skilled beyond the normal player...

It's just another exploit, it's hard to take down a seat switcher cause, just like you said, the missles won't hit them 90% of the time, and they know this, that's why they TK & OoB for the chopper.

                  I hope it's fixed soon.

Seat switching to avoid a missile lock is an exploit. Exploiters are cheaters. To make it perfectly plain to the cheaters amongst us, I would prefer to lose, than to win by having someone on my side cheat to achieve it.

It's something that cheaters are never capable of understanding. It comes from a lack of moral fibre.

I'll always be for a two-man helo over soloing. A good pilot and gunner will always be more effective than a soloer of equal skill. And I try to gun for people I know and pilot when it's someone I don't.

lol who would swich seats to avoid missiles, it wouldnt work

if ur doing it while being shot at by a jet ull only make it easier for the jet to shoot u with his machine gun, AA vehicles.......ull loose controll and loose the AA vehicle, that way ur an easy target for him

I do agree that good pilot and a good gunner together is the right way to do it but a noob pilot and a good gunner will suck, nothing will be acomplished

I'm not writing any of this to brag: it's a simple ****ing fact the moment I get in a chopper.

You appear to have difficulties in reading comprehension so I'll reiterate: because of my ability to perform both duties extremely well combined with an excellent awareness of the battlefield in conjunction with (paradoxically) a team-oriented strategy, I can handle ~80% of the armor and flying vehicles so that our ground troops and armor can have a relatively trouble-free time capturing flags... if they get off their ***.

If I'm playing with you and we lose, the fact that I'm most likely soloing is not the reason as I do more for the team alone than most of you could do in a two-man heli. If you put, for example, Rub-UFS- and I in two separate choppers on the same team and designate killzones to share the workload (believe me, we do your work), the opposition will have serious problems. This is the last you'll hear from me on this topic...

                              Re: Solo Helicopter?

Its a multiplayer game, for sure, played to have some fun. I love flying, heres an example when one really wants to fly a chopper.

I played for 6 hours, looking for a decent gunner and flying the Cobra. During these 6 hours, throughout 3 server I did not find one decent gunner. By DECENT, I mean, a gunner who can actually recognize the time when to use a TV missile, even if they miss (I can line copilots up for a PERFECT TV missile shot if they need that service). No. They do some totally stupid crazy sh!t, from shooting cannon at trees and houses to bailing out over the sea.

Fun? Frack you, sir. I want to play a game too, and have fun, feel myself at least remotely useful for my team. If I want to play a cab-driver, I take a round piloting a BHAWK FFS.

If a solo pilot does the job, let them. I better be off with as little armor as possible, rather than weep in sadness looking at another wasted chopper, flying with a crew of a total dumb@ss gunner and possibly even worse pilot...

This is why I am forced to fly for gunners I know. Because I know, if I take a newbie for a ride, I will have zero fun, and most likely will be pissed and aggrivated.

Well looky here Sloi and Chris still trying to get sympathy for cheating, why do you two even post about exploiting?

Answer me this both of you, cause I know you're both honest, you've said it before. Have either one of you ever TKed for a heli, or flew a gunner OoB??

And, do both of you really think the missles work properly when seat switching?

Please answer those two questions honestly.
