Re: Solo Helicopter?
Though the thread is hardly about this anymore, I did shoot 6 missiles at someone in a cobra today and had them all go straight through the cockpit when he switched seats. Like literally through the helicopter's thickest portion. Oh well, I just gunned him down. So missile locks stay locked if you switch to the gunner seat, but missiles tend to miss the chopper, so no real fix.
As for the morality of flying solo, there are some people who are really good at it. I've seen people good enough that I definately don't want to hinder them with my rather mediocre gunner skills. I'd rather be on the ground or in a jet anyway.
