Hey Parish...How about reading the reast of the RoE...Specifically the very next section to the one you posted:
(Important parts in bold)

2.3.2 Allowed “In-House” Ranked Server Rules:

Server Administrators may implement and enforce rules that result in minor changes to gameplay behaviour or styles as long as these are clearly stated before a player starts playing on a server. These rules typically introduce minor restrictions on how a certain aspect of the game can be used.

Examples of such rules that are acceptable are:

(a) Players may not use explicit, offensive or racist language in-game.

(b) Players may not impersonate clan members or other server administrators.

(c) Players may not deliberately performing actions that hinder their own team (such as last-minute team-swapping to increase scores or statistics, excessive team-killing, destroying friendly vehicles, attacking team-mates,

deliberately placing themselves in a situation so they cause another player to team-kill them, using a vehicle while being the Commander that prevents them from performing any Commander functions (jet, etc.) or placing vehicles to block their own runways.

I'm sorry I thought we had a SERVER OWNERS forum on Total BF2?

Before you begin speaking on having a server make sure you know what it's like to be a server admin first and if you're paying $640/month for a BF2 server you deserve to get shafted.

OP should go ahead and take SS of getting kicked and report it. I'm pretty sure they're aren't going to shut down 95% of ranked servers out there because you got kicked for being a commander in vehicle (not humvee) and whoring.

I dont own a server. I am just grateful that they pay a helluva lot of money so I can have a decent place to play.

The ROE specifies that if you are in a vehicle that HINDERS your ability to command, you can be kicked. Humvee does not hinder you, therefore it is ok.

We will kick a commander who doesn't do their job properly. ie flying in a jet or heli or fighting in the frontlines in a tank. Commanders role should be passove on a large server. ie they should have their head in the commander screen for the whole game.

You guys are killing me. Note that it says "using a vehicle while being the Commander that prevents them from performing any Commander functions (jet, etc.) " Being in the back of a Humvee by no means PREVENTS me from performing my duties as commander. You guys must play with some pretty sucky commanders.

Also make a mental note that I DO OWN A SERVER ty. I can and did read the entire ROE, more than once and at least I can read it in context. Some of you are just using it to make a point. There is nothing subjective about the part I cited. It is very explicit. Your remarks on the other section are ambiguous at best and don't say directly what you are trying to prove.

I hate server admins who try to act like they are actually important and have a purpose. Admins always say, I OWN this server I can do what I want... BS! EA owns that server annnnd your ***, because you were dumb enough to pay $10 a slot or w/e ridiculous price it is. You like being shafted don’t yah.

Back on topic. If you ever play on our server Chodda, we'll make sure your at the top of the list to get kicked to make room for an admin when the server is full.
