why is IO mode so bad ? i just love it. and for the one's who don't you have a choice what type of gamemode you gonna play, so what you cryin about? i don't get it. does it f@ck your bf2 up? no it doesn't. just ignore the servers, apply the filters and you wont even see it.

so you hate it, cause you want to use vehicles? ok. then we take a closer look at the vehicles. let's see how it does work on Karkand, the most played map on vBF2. the round starts. the one who fight's his way tru 32 man to reach the tank has the cheat for that round. WHO HOO!! A rolling "god mode" on wheels!!! atleast 10 kills before you get killed. and when you spawn, you only have to w8 5 sec before the cheat spawns again! isn't that great? " I PWN TH!S SrvR! I'M 1337!!" no you don't. and that's why IO is so great. cause that's the place ( if you have some) where you can show you "1337 skills". when your first in a IO server, you can for sure aim. ofcourse not when you using a privat hack.

and that's why i love IO. the only place on bf2 where i can use my skills, whoring in a tank is for noobs.

but in karkand it adds to the fun haing an apc to c4 and mine and stuff it , why do you care if ppl try and tk for them anyway ? i hardly ever use them as i no i will end up with a high score as a medic/support on ground as im so amazing

Are you kidding me? Infantry skills on Karkand? Lets take a closer look at most player's "1337 skills" on Karkand (and the modus operandi for future IO):
1) spawn at hotel as support
2) run to within grenade distance of entrance to city
3) throw ammo bag at feet
4) thow grenades
5) go to step 3

Oh my, the armor keeps killing me.:cry: There are narrow alleyways and TOW emplacements everywhere. Why does everyone keep crying about armor? Use an AT or Spec Ops kit once in awhile. Here's a hint for Karkand: spawn in as an engineer and mine the city entrance roads, grenade anyone who gets out of the armor. Karkand is one of the easiest places to take out armor with the clear fields of fire for the TOW and the places to hide for Spec Ops/AT. When facing a tank, DON'T RUN ACROSS AN OPEN AREA IN FRONT OF A TANK!

IO is going to be popular for maybe two weeks, then 90% of the BF2 players will be back on regular BF2. Why? Check out the Iron Gator map in SF. This map makes up a small portion of all SF servers when you're trying to find one to play. The play is repetitive, and the match lasts a fraction of the time compared to other maps.

but still.... you dont need skills to score in a tank. that's a fact. and if have downloaded patch 1.4 beta, you see that there is so much more teamwork. and ofcourse there are TOW's and ofcourse there the specops kit with C4. but hey, CCS is still the most played game of the world, and they don't use tanks there. so why u think IO is dead after 2 weeks? i play it for almost 4 weeks now. i love it.

WAKE UP YOU LOSERS - IO is a game mode. You armor whores aren't going to be affected by it, okay?!

It just means that both parties of people will be happy. Armor whores keep their precious BF2, but people who don't like armor get their IO. Pretty fair and simple.

i just think that there worried there won't be a lot of grunts on the ground to rape because a lot of people will move over to IO. i know i'm going to:)

if anyone has played the small map with 32+ players. they know that most kits are still used and it's a bloodbath. talk about non stop action.

people that say there only going to play medic now are just point whores. remember it's just a game to have fun playing. you only need one medic per squad no matter what map your playing.


i play city maps for a reason. so i don't get raped from the air by point whores so i can enjoy the game. i think a lot of people feel the same way.

i find ground fighting more fun than being in the air or in a tank. it's going to be nice to have more maps to play than just the city maps.

They are not spending tons and tons of resources and all their time on infantry only, if they are saying that then its a lie. How hard is it to make a script that cancels out the vehicle spawn one, they should hire someone that knows what they are doing if they cant do that. Its the same as denying all the unlocks on unranked servers which they did for no reason at all, and no one asked for, and Im sure they didnt spend months and months trying to implement it.
