I don't think that punkbuster JUST bans someone, you should have done SOMETHING to upset the punkbuster xD.
Otherwise, you said you cheated sometimes (btw: hardly a cheat IS a cheat). then YOU SUCK! go cheat on a your own server agains some retarded bots or something, cheaters mess up games. No cheaters = no more whiners calling everyone cheater = more players that play games = world peace (did i cross the line there? :p)
Maybe you can beg on your knees for forgiveness to the punkbuster crew.

il be honest here i have cheated in americas army once before i used a downloaded thing from the net and i got banned from a server and when bf2 first came out i used one of thoes red dot drawing system things so my sniper rifle had a cross hair and i got banned from some server b4 i even got into the round and thats it, i know the americas army one was wrong and the bf2 one isnt a bad but a hardware ban for thoes 2 offences seems a bit hard.
is there anyway i can apeal this ban?

In all honesty this would not get you a hardware ban. If you read the PB post #4 the Hack needs to try to circumvent PB itself to get a hardware ban.

Euro forces and Armored fury have no CD key you get them off the net

WRONG!.
EF and AF both have CD keys and they are installed when you install the game. The key info is in the .eam files for each booster. The keys are installed in the registry under "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Electronic Arts\EA Core\Staging\eagames\BF2-2006\online_map_content".

Edit - What about my special forces disks, i do not have that installed, will i be able to play bf2 SF

Wow, I didn't even know hardware bans were possible. I hope no one gets banned by mistake. I hope I dont! I certinally don't cheat. I suck too much to be a cheater =P

I think there's more to this than the OP is letting on to. We've seen people getting caught cheating and all that happens is stats get wiped. This is the first hardware ban i've seen which leads me to believe he was using more than a red dot cheat.

Not that I believe him, but I looked at his stats, the only thing that caught my eye was a 54 kill streak.

I looked at that yesterday and couldn't find anything incriminating. The kill streak could have been done from a jet which is very plausible. With those stats, it leads me to believe that he was caught very early into his hacking days.

edit- Since he has already admitted to cheating in both AA and this game, i have no doubt he would try again. Hopefully he paid a lot of money for whatever hack he was trying..
