We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
If you has a zero ping, you would be on the server physically, not connected to it. Even then it would not really be zero, but thousanths of a millisecond.
Your ping depends more on how close you are to the server more then what type of internet (cable, dsl, fios).
I play on insomnia servers, so my ping is 80(they are in texas i believe). If anyone knows of servers located in new england area, massachusetts preferably, please pm me with the server ip.
I have been playing poe2, and many of the servers are in europe from what i have seen, and for servers in europe i get a 120-145 ping. I do have the occassional lag do to my brother using the other computer.

Ping is not completely about how close or far, it is also dependent on the ammount of hops you have to the site. I live in Austin and if I were on SBC DSL, and wanted to hit Insomnia in Dallas, my packet would travel to Seattle before it got to Dallas.
Ping can be determined by the line speed between routers and the number of hops to the location
Charter has been screwing me lately. I have a 3 meg connection and the best ping I get at times is 200+. Yesterday I hit 35 and it rose from there up to its 200 mark and I quit.
I don't pay attention to ping unless it's over 100. 80 or 70 and below is ok. My ping is usually around 50 or 60 though. Once it gets up to like 150 I find a different server, unless it's a real nice server.
