Underrated - The medic combo of the L85A1 in single shot mode and my trusty backup....the shockpaddles (the most underrated!)

Overrated - Dao and the Jackhammer, I would rather use the SMG

Most underrated: Vehicle mounted .50 cals. I constantly blows me away that people often don't even try to shoot down choppers with these handy 'ol dealers of death. Hell, I've put down planes with those suckers.

I'll switch between the top 50 and the dash gun if I've got a whole vehicle, constant fire on a chopper as when one overheats the other has cooled off. It also works for boats on wake.

Yeah man I've noticed that not many have figured this one out yet.

I think by now everybody agrees that the M4, G36C and the QBZ-95 are all way better than the SCAR-L.

In all this discussion of the G36E, it's funny that no one mentioned that your can only have the M16 if you play on US. If you have the G36E unlocked, you can play with it on any vanilla map, any army. Nice thing about the G36e as well for me is the 3 round burst. It forces you to be accurate and not "spray and pray" The site picture when zoomed is, of course, just like the other G series (G36C, MG36) in the game, giving you a little consistency from class to class.

Another thing in all this discussion that hasn;t been mentioned is the value of aiming for the head. Most already know this, but any headshot deals 3 times the normal damage. So there are quite a few one shot kill to the head guns (anything with damage over 33). That's why the freakish accuracy of the G36E can deal a headshot and leave them with little to no health.

I agree also that the L85 is underrated as well, but I have had bad experiences with it. I am talking about full auto, of course. Its a complete joke with this gun. You can stand 6 feet from someone on full auto and hit them maybe 1 out of 10 bullets. Sure, sure, just use single shot, but it still is a little ridiculous.

Another fave of mine is defintely the MG36. This bad boy packs tons of bullets and has a 3 shot burst for crazy accuracy.

Additionally, the 12.7/ .50 can ruin the day of a gung-ho flag capping squad.

Not the best, probably near or one of the best though, my fav gun on SF maps where there is US Navy SEALS.

Ya, I do like that weapon, I would take it as an unlock over stuff like the F2000.

Yeah, they are really useful. If you can get on a nice hillside or choke point with them things, and don't have some ass get in and try to drive you someplace, you can really mow some people down. Minded their are no snipers gunning for ya.

They are nice against Helos too. Often the tracers are not detected by the gunner or pilots eyes, so you can often chew them down before they realize they are toast.
