"Let's get real. the ONLY reason Karkand is popular is because it's the easiest map to whore points on. PERIOD. It's been proven."
I would just love to see your reasoning behind that. Who proved it and when, because to be honest I missed the memo.
I don't have to prove anything. Just look at the leader boards. They're all Karkand whores. Speaks for itself.

Didn't you see that part where I said I don't spend my life away playing this game liek all the other statwhores?
My stats reflect my lack of playtime nothing more.
Plus there's alot of 'ranked' playtime where I'm just goofing off with my clan. Why? Because BF2 stats mean nothing about a players ability. Only how much time they put into the game.
"Die pathetically"...that's funny. I do just fine on the ground. Am I GREAT...no...and I do it without all the glitching and spamming that all the Karkand whores do because I have some pride. Something that is seriously lacking in today's gamer.

    PS...gee...where did Crosstorm go...
Could it be that he really was Krysiss and got this account banned too.

You really dont understand the concept of proof do you.
I might as well make the statement:
"Look at the leader board, all the top players play Karkand therefore Karkand is where the best players are and where the stiffest competition is. Anybody who doesnt play Karkand is clearly a noob hiding from being raped by better players."

Or to put it more succinctly, you would like the next map to be more infantry orientated BUT that doesn't necessarily make you "anti-vehicle" as some of the knockers like to label you.

I'm in the same boat, I'd like another urban map (note how I didn't say infantry), maybe with the odd chopper in it too, maybe even the Little Bird? Fact is that the last 6 maps for this game were set in very open landscapes, and on the flipside a lot of the more popular maps are urban ones.

A question for the anti-anti-vehicle people: What are you gonna do when there are infantry only maps and there are no foot soldiers for you to massacre?

Not if the desires of the majority of the fanbase were to request otherwise. If they did a poll of all players, and only 10% liked vehicles and 90% hated them, I'm sure you'd see a change in game elements.

Thats not the case, but I'm just saying nothing is set in stone.

But you know that's not the case because you know as well as I do that the only reason Karkand is popular is because it's easiest to whore points on.
It has the most 'choke' points for people to cut people off on.
It has the easiest mapped spawn points for people to spawn rape
The design makes it prone to congenstion and that makes it easy for commander artiller to score points.

Anyway...I'm done arguing. I agree to diessagree with all the Karkand whores.
On Topic...I want the map to be HUGE.
          Lots of ground to cover.
          Lots of vehicles.

          Over and out.

              Yeah you're right.

Another question would be: which parties will fight in it: USA, MEC, PLA??
I guess it will be another USA-MEC conflict but maybe iam totally wrong

I hope its like the commercial for BF2... with the tank in the middle of the street... the mosque... the helos... and the planes.

basically I really want an urban map with aircraft... and around the edges can be airfields. That'd be sweet.

I'm just going to call it Road to JaBadass.

Why cant we all just get along?
Seriously, fighting between pounders and vehicle lovers..calling each other whores or whiners.
It stupid, this game can be enjoyed by both parties. And lets be honest, everyone who favors vehicle style maps are pretty much well stocked with action.
Whats the vehicle to infantry split in maps? 90% vehicle ridden 10% CQC..let alone even Karkand 32, the smallest of the pure CQC offers 3 tanks..3 highly efficent objects able to dominate a map.

So why the gripe and the attack on guys who favor pushing foward through alleys, snipers in the back, assualting classes up front, dipping diving and yes...hopping. But theres a bigger rush to some people in these situations.
I mean do you people stay inside your vehicles and say "heck if I get out Im a CS noob"..? No you say Im an infantry soldier, and thats another aspect of the game to enjoy. Seriously for the infantry enthusiast how much enjoyment comes from being bombed or shelled?

I hope for the map to be pure infantry, even drop the tanks in a 32 version just so on infantry maps no one can say "Tank whore!!" even if a small amount like Sharqi, Mash and Kark would even be great.
                  Please god no Helis.
Helis or cool but they are the most effecient killing machines, nothing rivals a Heli on a map with lackluster AA..which this map problably will. Imagine a Sharqi without the Heli...ohhh sweet. IMO the best Sharqi matches are when eithier team lacks a Heli ace.

My hope...Karkand tight quarters in choke points..Mastuur type in that many available roofs and a transport chopper..Sharqi in good map locations and great environment (construction site, TV tower, the second flag with the wall behind it)

Man what is it with you and points? I, like many other players, are totally seriously over the whole points things and play maps based on fun more than anything else. I wouldn't care if rankings dissapeared tommorow. Besides which, Karkand is almost the worst round for me to get points on.

I actually think Karkand's popularity is mainly cause it's just fun to carve it up and have everything concentrated in intense battles rather than so spread out it takes you a minute or so to find anyone else. Its a straight up battle with little flanking to be had, there's no extreme "going round the long way", its head to head battling, baby. It doesnt matter if you are in a vehicle or on foot, there's gonna be some lead flying pretty regularly on Karkand. Same goes for all the other urban maps.

And FYI moron, commanders dont get point for arty kills.

My assumption is that it won't be an urban map. Cause that what most people want and EA/DICE don't like pleasing people.

Hopefully, it will be like karkand, but put more of the action in the road to the city. That way all you whiners (anti vehicle and anti infantry) can get your fun. You vehicle connoisseurs can do your part taking the hills, fields, and path to the city, and the ground pounders can have their fun there.

Yeah i want it to be like karkand i still dont understand why people use tanks and APC's on karkand coz they know they are gonna win and i have to play anti tank all the time to try and stay alive. I hope this new map does not have tanks or apcs you dont need them on karkand its not like you have got to walk far to get to enermys like on other maps so why use them, the only reason i can think of is that you can get near 100 points with harldy any deaths.

Uhmmm...because the developers of the game put them there?
It was designed to have those vehicles on them maybe?
Just because you don't like does not mean people shouldn't use them when you're playing.
I really really hope they offer this "Infantry only" setting for you people just so it will keep you quiet. This "anti-vehicle" mentality is killing me.
