BF2142 has the same lousy game engine that BF2 has. Atleast I'm not going to buy again a laggy game with full of bugs. It's just a mod with same ****ty engine. DICE's amateurs have coded a damn heavy game even it has quite ****ty graphics. DICE should send their employees to Valve or somewhere to learn how to program a game.

EVERYONE OF YOU ENJOYS BF2. Sure, it's buggy, but your having FUN. Yeah, it crashes. Yeah, it's a hell of a program to run. But it is fun.

I'm not going to stop myself from having fun by "boycotting" bf2142. I will buy it, it will be buggy, but I will have fun.

heck i wont buy 2142 anyways i am not interested in furture crap, bf2 is as far as i go i prefer historical warfare games, bf1942 won me over, bf2 kept me on board, bf2142 will make me jumpship

Quake 4 was a peice of crap, what makes you think this will be any better?

Because, much like Quake 3, it is built solely for the multiplayer experience. The videos make it look like much more fun than BF2142 will ever be. (imho)

none of this petition crap is going to do anything. People will still play and people will still buy.

If all of you truly hate the developer or feel that they are putting out crap patches, then the solution is simple. Uninstall the game and never play again! Don't buy another EA game and please stop complaining about this one.

Nobody will do this of course, because that would mean actually having to do something.

If all the haters and complainers were to just stop playing BF2 right now this instant and never comeback then maybe, just maybe EA would notice. Other than that anything else is just wasting time and energy.

Its a bit early to be thinking about BF2142, and I frankly don't care about the bugs unless they seriously affect my gameplay...like if my game crashed repeatedly. Alot of people have problems with things that I overlook, remember, its just a game so don't get frustrated...though occasionally get frustrated also . But, I plan to wait it out, I will let BF 2142 come out...read the reviews, and based on taht, buy it.

perhaps this is just me being silly... but how can a team of PROFESSIONAL programmers fck up a game as much as DICE do.. i just cannot comprehend it.

if i messed up this much in the job I do, i'd get fired so damn fast!

wow, just because the lot of you can't run your computer correctly, causing your BF2 to hang or ctd, because of all the useless crap you keep on there, you blame dice or ea for it? you are just children. learn how to care for your machine, and the software will take care of itself. if it's that big of a problem, reformat and reinstall.

i am looking forward to 2142.
