I said will not buy 2142 and any BF2 addons but depending on how good BF2142 turns out I may or may not change my vote to the first choice.

EA. If you are crapping on BF2 to make 2142 look better, we will take this the way you don't want us to do. No, we won't buy 2142 because you crapped on BF2. We will all boycott EA products, be they Tee shirts to DVDs to BF3.

We are going to take this latest patch and the "fixes" to come the "wrong" way. DOWN WITH EA GAMES!

PS: Those planning on buying another Dice product after what has happened to BF2 are begging to get ripped off again.

Some people never learn, they like getting reamed over and over again. I understand all videogames have bugs, but this is a new low. Here is an example, compare the changelog of patches that Counter-Strike Source has released and the ones that BF2 has released....
Say what you want about CSS, Steam, or Valve for that matter; they know how to inform their customers. They actually provide details as to WHY certain issues are a problem and why they need to be fixed.

The BF2 changelog looks as if it was written by a disinterested, hyperactive 12 year old with dyslexia and no knowledge of the game at all.

Do you seriously think your "battle chest of bullsh£t" is fooling anyone? We know you are trying to "FIFAise" battlefield into some kind of yearly release, and we aren't having it.

Do you think this approach will make more money than simply Pimping BF2 so it has....I dunno.... A WORKING SERVER BROWSER and a menu that isn't a shower of ****e?

To think I used to actually defend EA strongly pre-BF2 release, saying they are in the business of making money, so what?

Well, with BF2, their business sense just seems DUMB. Valve will make more money out of CSS over the years, than EA will out of BF2/booster packs/sequels will just end up with a less and less people buying each one, and more and more people getting annoyed that they haven't even got a good server browser for BF vanilla! Stupid business sense that doesn't build communities.

Not buying BF2142 because I dont like this futuristic stuff, besides, there are many other futuristic shooters out there already that are not as buggy as BF2

I refuse to buy another EA product ever again, unless they release something absolutely mindblowingly amazing, and even then I'll have to seriously reconsider it. Besides, companies such as Ubisoft, Activision, and, most notably, Valve, at least give half a **** about their customers.

I have to agree even tho there are some really really really stupid and gey things about it. it still has some fun in it. But latly its just getting gayer atm. Im prob gona buy it. Im mostly waiting for the new CnC to come out.

yes this is the best you can try out software and if they are good buy it...or not its up to you, this is what i do to all the games nowadays, ive bought too many ****ty games to waste money

i dun really kno..bf2142 looks like a sweet game and if it runs then ill prob buy it..and no game is bug -free especially online games
