Ohhhh, I forgot it is 'cool' to pretend you don't care about your stats, and 'uncool' to actually give a crap. For many out there, we look at stats as being a representative of the player's skills. I'm not sure what you look at, if anything, but awards are a great starting place to see how well a player can accomplish certain feats in the game. I take pride in my stats, and play the game to constantly better my numbers. Now before you hit that reply button, you're thinking "Oh, another guy who doesn't care about the team and only cares about his stats." Absolutely false. The majority of the awards/badges are towards TEAMWORK. For example, first aid, resupply, explosives, repair, etc etc. So don't tell me I'm not a team player, because those are always my intentions. To help the team. So before you make another juvenile reply, think before you start mashing those keys again.

I hope this is true. They fixed the tactical weapons medals yay! ill get my vet ones as soon as this is implemented.
It kinda sucks that i worked my ass off to get that expert knife badge and there changing it like that. But its ok. When peeps look at my stats, they will see that i got it pre-patch. Not that most people care.
Well some hard medals may be made easier, but still you have to ignore the "Expert bla bla" and check out their stats. Sure the medal may have been made easier to get but someone can still say "Whoa that guy spent 478hours (random number) sitting in a tank!"

Ppl that earned medals, & badges under the old requirements should have an extra "wreath" or something wrapped around their medals in their stats sigs

i find you do get some players saying that they got there medals very easy but only to find out that they got em afterthey nerfed the requirements for them lmao.
Thats the whole point! We dont want to finish the game!! We like it why finish??! If you play just to finish it why do you play anyway?
Let's see. I have played online for a number of years. Several games such as DFLW or perhaps Joint Operations are still on my hard drive. They get a run thru occasionally. Those games awarded everything within 6 months. But that was because I spent as much time as possible playing those games online.
You are talking to someone who probably will never finish games or gaming. I probably will be half blind and senile at 80 years old demanding a fiber optic connection to my nursing home room so I can frag the kiddies. Medicare will probably find a way to accept the charges as some kind of well-ness therapy by then if our corrupt and debt ridden Government makes it that far.
When you play the game to the max and get as much as you can out of it, it gets "Used up" and thrown away like a burned out cigerette. But play a game long enough you might learn new things and see great things from people working together to win a game.
I`m surprised people are acually believing this award change.
If they were gonna change thoose awards, they would have done so with the last update when they adjusted the medals for time in service.
No need to wait for a patch for this
I think this is a great news, since most people will spend less time on the knife/pistol only servers and play on different maps more often.
Expert knife badge and expert explosive badge are difficult to achieve even on the 300 points ticket knife/pistol servers. 37 kills in a round requirement of explosive expert is super hard to achieve after EA removed C4 throwing after 1.2 patch.
