It all depends on the question you are trying to answer. Yes you did, in your original post, specify that you wanted to know the ratio between non Team kills and Team kills. A valid ratio determined by the formula you gave. But it' is also valid, as others are trying to say, to look at the ratio of team kills to all the TOTAL number of players you have killed (wheter they be team players or enemies).

But, since its your thread people should post it your way. Given that, your insistence that the other question lacks logic, is in fact, illogical.

No.. Cause if u had added the Tk´s, to ur Kills, it would have concluded in a result, wich had not made sense in the TK´s % of Kills... ... Since.. The "Kills", and "Tk´s" doesnt belong to each other, the same way as "death" and kills, doesnt belong to each other.. You dont "Kill" an "TK".. U behave bad, an "gets punished by TK on ur stat (Including making life soar for the player ur team mate u commited the "TK" on)...

I dont consider a Team Kill, as a Kill.. (Or by any means, to add it to ur OVER ALL GLOBAL kills.. And neither does EA and Dice, by their stats...)

Than this mean:

1427*100/42370=3.367 =Ca. 3.37%, wich is pretty good...

You are correct, well actually you should round up as the next figure is over 5, so 3.37, but whichever :)

Everyone else use this formula = Tks (multiplied by) 100 (divided by) total kills

I am sorry, but you are just plain wrong. Taking a percentage of TKs to total kills makes absolutely perfect sense. I actually think it makes more sense than your made up stat which is really should be a ratio and not a percentage.

About TK's. I think the percentage could even be lower if DICE would adjust the IFF ( Identify friend or Foe) when our teammates get out of hummvess,jeeps, armour. It shows a Square Box likes it an enemy target when your own teammates get out. Being in a plane has its disadvantages when it comes to Tk's

OMG at all the debate about ratio or percentage, its done now can't we all just give it a rest and stick to the numbers, this WAS an interesting topic before 2.5 pages full of debate.

He posted the formula in the first post so lets all stick to that eh? it is the easiest way to work it out after all, and wont change matters much unless your a rampant TK and then you wont post the results probably......

You may want to check a basic statistical ananlysis book out of the library.

Let's say I am a brand new player and play one round in which I tk'd one player and killed one enemy. (1tk - 1kill.) Now do the math your way. The ratio is 100%. But in actuallity using the other method, I have only "behaved badly" 50% of the time. Do you see the point now?
