Moral is, if you're commanding, and at round end the game starts going haywire, "esc" to save yourself, because even if it happens to you and some **** admin is to blame, YOU obviously are at fault, according to the way things seem to be going anyway.

I don't even think leaving the server will help, round has ended, you get your points anyway, so when you are commander, you disconnect when you see your score rising like hell, nothing you can do about it , it wil get send to the statservers, they will reset you

Apparently when it happens, there is a series of what appear to be server resets, each time showing your score going up, as if another round just ended, but since you didn't play, the glitch is that it takes your last score, and gives it the x2 multiplier, so it would go say 60, 120, 240, 480, etc...


As far as the disconnecting, it may or may not help, as since it is glitching the score, it may glitch your presence there too, so maybe taking screens to show that you have been violated is the best option. Although the proper thing to do would be for EA to simply wipe that particular BSR from your record, this still leaves open people doing it on purpose for whatever reason, not just victims of the glitch, so I guess they take the corporal punishment way about it.

Thats what they should be doing, not just wiping stats completely.

I've not really paid much attention to accounts of this glitch until now, and from what i can gather its the admins that are the only ones with the power to take advantage of it. Surely, if Edmundo was an admin then there would be a fair case to justify the resetting of his stats, but given as he isnt.. Wouldn't that be enough to set bells ringing that perhaps he isn't the one responsible? Is there no way that perhaps he can retain his old stats, without the glitched round? It just seems a bit harsh that the poor bloke doesnt *seem* to be responsible, but still cops the blame...

*Edmundo has also been a member of this community for a while and as a general rule seems to be a decent and forthright player, hence my inclination to believe him on this one.

I'm glad you mentioned this since I naturally I figured that would be my course of action if I were to ever encounter this garbage. Guess you folks are right, the only way to avoid getting f$cked by EA is abstinance of the commander role
