We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
I was playing on Gulf of Oman the other day when all of a sudden at the end of a round, the map reloaded and then I had to hit join like 5 or 6 times beacuse it kept popping up like the map was reset over and over. Not sure if they were abusing this or not.
Anyhow ... I never play commander, so I'm not overly concerned. I can see this becoming a problem with admins who just want to screw with some poor commander though. Run the score up really high and then report them. Boom ... stats reset. Weak to say the least. I'm not a big fan of stats or the ranking system, but I like them in the sense that I can keep track of my own progress.
I haven't said much about this because it is laughable, but since it can now allow one person to affect another persons game, EA needs to address it quickly.
Wow I am not playing commander until this is fixed. Yes if an adminn wanted to he could cause the commander glitch to happen to some unsuspecting schmoe and then they get reset.

If that's the indication that this glitch is going on, then it has been going on far longer than people are aware of. This has happened on various servers on occasion since about 5 months or so ago.
Weak.
Like I said, I just plan on avoiding commander. I've never really enjoyed it much, so it's no loss for me.
Sucks for the guys where the admin just wants to be an ass though.
I dont understand why they dont do the easiest thing and simply stop recording stats until they fix the problem. Its allows people to willingly and unwillingly stat pad and that isnt fair to anyone, least of all honest players.
They must have a back up of the stats database laying around from before the first 16m pointer, fix the problem and resume stat counting from the back up.
What do you mean it couldnt happen in 15 minutes?! Using the commander exploit you could 20,000+ in a FEW minutes
I think he was trying to use some lame detective work and say that it reset was coming because a month ago he had a lower score than he did yesterday and sited the possible round that it happened in.
so how the hell can this be avoided? on the rare occasion i do play commander, what can i do to stop me having this bug and ending up with a reset and no decent guns to use?
