Just got my stats reset!!! Thanks EA

I was playing a round as commander, my side won but the round ended before the tickets had reached 0. I suspected something was wrong when the sounds and screen started to go a bit laggy. I saw that my score was about 50, but then i started growing and it stopped at 10240. At first i thought there must of been an error somewhere on the server, but after i asked some players in the server they also said i had a huge score.

Anyway, i went to bfhq and looked at my stats which were around 65,000 (20.000 higher than previously) i had also been promoted twice and recieved some unlocks. Within 15mins of this i went back to bfhq in saw that i had a global score of 0.

Being the innocent victim of the commander glitch i have had my stats reset (over 400 hours worth). I still have no idea how this happened or why.

There appears to be no way of getting my stats back now so:

Ah yes the commander bug...where you intentionally exploiting the commander bug or did it just happen by itself ?

Sorry man it does suck, does EA take appeals or something along those lines ?

They don't reset your stats in 15 minutes. If it did indeed happen that way, than there is something wrong with the stats tracking, or they have started running some script that does it when something like this happens.

Definetly not intentionally, i think it may have been down to the server admin. I was playing Bamboo ranked server i think.

If it was a reset by script then they have simply opened up a whole new realm to admin abuse

That's very interesting about the 15 mins... it sounds like some sort of automated process. I wonder what the criteria is? Any single round score over a certain threshold thats a power of 2?

Or XXX amount of points IAR = reset.

Man... almost that same **** happend to me... but not the stat resetting or the commander glitch...

These guys were statpadding on my team... the one where 5 guys go into a boat as engineer and they repair.. well.. I threw a grenade at them.. but it didnt blow up... my screen just filled up with "Hey! Cease fire Soldier!" and then I threw another one because I was ****ed off.. next thing I know, someones like "WTF? METALLICA WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" and I hit tab and my score was like -800 something... and it was going up VERY fast... like -100 every 10 seconds..So I left the game immediately and lost 800 or so points...

I've always wondered what would happen if that same thing happened, but you were on the other team, and threw a grenade into them.

I mean within 15mins of checking my score the first time my stats had been reset. Please explain where the other points came from/
