Forgive me for not thoroughly re-reading all of the user's posts (since my last); but for those who are still having trouble this is just a reminder: Please remember to launch the game using DXTweaker's Start button (screenshot below). You press the Start button and DXT will launch the game.

If you use your own shortcut DXTweaker's settings wont take effect. Hey, I even made this mistake myself at first.... I'm just reminding new/old folk who are still having trouble.:)

      Screeny:

      Peace.

          Let it go guys.

This is a good program, and it fixes the stutter problem for me, and many other of us. Period.
I'm sure Pyuro figured this out too by now. Give him a break

Nice program. It's great that it works for Special Forces now, too, since I just picked up SF yesterday. My only question is "why hasn't this been done before?"

Blame microsoft They wont whql the drivers if it has Triple buffering forced through the driver because it messes with directx
so it has to be forced through other means

Anybody figure out why the program generates an exception upon execution for some users, even if they have .Net and the latest DirectX?

I'd like to know too. I updated to .Net Framework 2.0, but it still doesn't work. If I press start, nothing happens. When I go to exit the program, it crashes, with an error about memory access problems. Really dissappointing. I relaly want this to work.

Well, since the forums at the dev's site are pretty slow, perhaps he'd stop on by here for some feedback, since we're all trying his beta out.

Thanks for putting in the time to benchmark, but this isn't a BF2 SF forum, and the performance between BF2 and BF2 SF isn't comparable. Also, the info needs to be put into a spreadsheet or a chart so it can be compared without studying it for an hour. Again, I'm not knocking you.... good effort!

Read the posts again, because you have done it wrong then . It's described how to exactly do it, there is no way between.

Yet again Coolbits Triple Buffering only effects OpenGL games (sorry for saying this for the 11th time, this guy just doesn't take it), so it makes no difference.

To all, this is not the thing every basic gamer should use really. If you don't have image tearing, mainly on a TFT, don't even bother. If you have never heard of VSync and don't know what it is, don't even bother. Since in those cases it won't bring any good to your game. Though when I saw the title VSync with high frames rated with Triple Buffering I straight away knew that would come in handy for me. I got a TFT and when looking at vertical objects and not using VSync I get some distortion. Though I can't enable VSync since that will keep me on 35FPS (70Hz) all the time.

In the instructions link it says in step 1 that i need to have vsync enabled through driver setttings. How do i enable it?

Not double post and search with Google for example. This is basic stuff, no need to ask for it and very stupid when even double post it.
