Yea, I saw that. A load of people raging because the 595's are 99% the same as the 555's yet cost an absolute ton more. The drivers are exactly the same :p

Only differences seem to be a stand, leather headband and no foam sheet inside... :\

hey speaking of hd555's i saw a comment on amazon that seemed to be my only concern about these headphones:

how do you personally deal with this or is this guy just blowing it way out of proportion. you dont have any trouble keeping the thing plugged in do you?

You can always get adaptors which have a bit of cable inbetween the 1/4in and 1/8h out if it really bugs you

k yeah i think after trying out some different headphones and then trying these ones out i feel better about getting some hd555's

cause i mean i could get those astro a40s but i think a smarter thing to do would be to spend $100 on headphones and then get some speakers and a switcher so i dont have to plug and unplug stuff. i think it would be cool to have some speakers they are appropriate at times

If your gunna spend money on speakers then get proper speakers and an amp. If you get a good enough amp that will do the 'switching' for you. I just need t get a subwoofer for my sound system now but no point where im livin atm cuz il never get to crank it :p

Alternatively you could get some really nice monitors such as http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/produc...o-s8-pair.html but they are expensive and you could probs get an amp and 4 speakers for that.

Iv got headphones from 1974 and I use a Sure SM58 as a mic.
On that basis I should win just for being so old skool.

sm58s are as oldskool as they are newskool :p still standard mics for a lot of occations.
