basically for anyone that doesn't know, Liverpool sold Fernando Torres for £50 MIWWION

he was in the past basically their prized player along with gerrard, but this season has, well...sucked

I think its a club record (not british, think Ronaldo got that?)

Liverpool in turn bought a very very good striker from Uruguay, Suarez for about £20 MIWWION, and Andy Carroll for £35 MIWWION

the latter being a very risky and costly buy, there is no doubt that Carroll is a good player with a lot of potential, but he is somewhat unproven. Credit to em, made a lot of money off torres and they are the club that most needed to buy

enemies of chelsea beware though if torres finds his form again!
