ALSO, just got done playing some PlanetSide 2 for the first time in a few months. It used to be an unplayable mess with respect to framerate, now it runs one hell of a lot better! Had a lot of fun, though I'm still learning the ropes.
I've heard lots of good things about the book, I'll just give it a shot someday.

Just finished Spec ops: the line. I think its my personal GOTY. I do wish it got more deserved attention.

So Black Ops 2 was released last night on Steam. I believe the game had a pre-load phase. I assumed I wasn't getting it added to my press account, because if a game usually has a pre-load, I will see it on my list early and also be able to pre-load it along with everyone else. Sometimes this doesn't happen, and the game is added at the time of its release to the public, pre-load be damned.

Last night, there was nothing on my list. I checked at 3AM (when Black Ops 2 came out locally) and probably again around 4AM (I'm up this late all the time anyway). There was nothing and I was a bit relieved because that meant I didn't have to review the game. I get some sleep. Eventually make it to my computer, start up Steam and see .

I shed a little tear. But no really, one big review or three smaller reviews that are a bit more manageable to sit through without becoming bored? I'm leaning towards the three smaller ones since I can then delete old footage and not have it stack up from three separate parts of the same game.

I moved to the US in September, and am living in a motel with my parents. But otherwise good.

That means that our forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world. We are the wretched refuse. We're the underdog. We're mutts! Here's proof: his nose is cold! Well we had applied for a Permanant resididency "Diversity" visa a few years ago (before we were living in Australia even) and had forgotten we had, but late last year it came through. Me having pretty much finished highschool (last two years are just Uni prep. You get the diploma before those two years) and finding out New Zealand residents perks end just before getting student Loans in Australia and my parents always wanting to go and live, we all thought, "well why not?".

However my dad has been on a drug trial for a while and to continue it we had to move to one of a 3 places, one of them San Diego. Thats where we are now. My parents job search has been hard. Been wanting to settle but am unable to until we have a home so I know where I can work (due to my lack of a drivers license) to start saving up for uni and other things.

Having said all that, I do like it here so far. I want it to work out, its just frustrating being 18 and stuck with your parents because you don't have certain life skills. The only thing that I'm not used to is the reduced Public transport in comparison to Sydney (where people there complain about... sheesh...)

^Happened to me. When I realised that the highlight of my day was 2 arguments at once I realised that I needed to take a break. I've decided to extend that break until I have settled, otherwise I think I will kill myself...
