Yes. Call of pripyat is the most stable but Shadow of Chernobyl has the best atmosphere (read: More scary, but bleak in a good way.)

Personally I would go with both.

All of them over and over again

SoC has the best atmosphere and story, but has some half-finished mechanics. Luckily, the mod scene for the stalker games is probably the best one I know of. I think I'm on my 4th SoC playthrough at the moment , and with each of them lasting a good 20+ hours that's a good value.

Its good too, but if you play SoC first (which most people have) it often falls short of expectations.
