Series mainstay is back for Soulcalibur VI.

A series mainstay, Hwang Seong-gyeong will return very soon to the Soulcalibur franchise when he appears as DLC #13 for Soulcalibur VI. Hwang is a part of Season Pass 2 for the game. He aims to "fight against evil and strike down anyone or anything that represents it."

Some bits of DLC 14 were also mentioned alongside today's reveal of Hwang. DLC 14 will add a bunch of new content for the Character Creation Set. There...

EVO Japan was large and in charge this past weekend. As is seemingly customary with these events, some new content was announced for existing games like Tekken 7 and even Soulcalibur VI.

For Tekken 7, fans learned about some of what is coming in the 3.2 Game Update. Thanks to a new developer diary, we also see how the new new characters, Leroy Smith and Fahkumram, are coming along.

There is a Soulcalibur documentary that just hit the Internets courtesy of Bandai Namco. Frankly, I would not be surprised if most of you out there had no idea that the series began its life as Soul Edge, which then became Soul Blade before ultimately becoming Soulcalibur.
