The first expansion for Risk of Rain 2 was just released today. Risk of Rain 2: Survivors of the Void offers fans two new Survivors, a new endgame boss, five new stages, an endless mode, lots of new items, and more.
The expansion is available now through Steam for a special launch-week price of $9.75 (USD; normally $14.99). The base game is also on sale for the week for 50% off if you don't yet own the game....

New expansion and Epic Games Store release coming March 1.
Void Fiend is the newest survivor to be revealed for Risk of Rain 2: Survivors of the Void expansion. Void Fiend was announced today by Gearbox Publishing and Hopoo Games during a reveal stream earlier today.
The studios also revealed that Risk of Rain 2 along with this new expansion will be released on the Epic Games Store on March 1, 2022, This is the same date that the DLC will be released on Steam.

A release date for Risk of Rain: Survivors of the Void expansion has been revealed. This new expansion will be out on March 1, 2022. With its release will come the first of two new survivors being added to the game, plus new monsters, new bosses, a new game mode, new stages, new music, and more. We talked a bit more about that in the Survivors of the Void announcement back in November.
