Konami released around 30 new minutes of gameplay footage from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain today. This new footage is in addition to the new trailer that was also shown off at Gamescom 2015.

The gameplay video (below) shows how you can grow and build your own base, in addition to how you can attack other bases and also how you can defend your own base from attackers.

This past E3 (2015), Kojima and Konami showed off roughly 40 minutes of gameplay for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Afterwards, Kojima promised to show off some alternate gameplay options for the same mission. Today, he made good on his promise. Instead of Snake teaming up with Diamond Dog and the walker, he is instead teaming up this time with Quiet and D-Horse. Just these two changes along would be enough to drastically alter how the game is played but it doesn't stop there....

Konami showed off quite a bit of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain during E3 2015. This was shown to those attending E3 and wow is it in-depth. Of course, they couldn't show off everything but you're still looking at 40 minutes of gameplay here. There's stealth, there's combat, there's a dog, there's a mini-Metal Gear, there's combat, there's customization, and just so much more. From what I understand, another video for this same mission will be released later by Kojima and Konami....
