A remaster of the crime-themed FPS is coming later this year.
3D Realms and Interplay are working on a remaster of the decidedly old-school FPS, Kingpin: Life of Crime. The original came out back in June 1999, which may actually be before your time depending on your age. It was released on Linux and Windows and ran off of id Tech 2, the same engine that powered Quake II.
