Take-Two issues a nothingburger of a statement.

Update: While the initial report (found below) spoke only of the layoffs and shuttering for Kerbal Space Program 2 developer, Intercept Games, it is now known that Take-Two Interactive is shuttering Roll7 as well.

Roll7 is a development studio based out of London and is the team behind the action game Rollerdrome. The studio also known for developing several titles in the OlliOlli series.

After a series of delays and whatnots, Kerbal Space Program 2 is now available for purchase. The game isn't complete or anything, but is instead an Early Access release on the PC. This sequel to the rocket building, space exploration game will get you back just $49.99 (USD) through Steam, the Epic Games Store, the Private Division Store, and other digital storefronts....

After a long, long time waiting, an Early Access date has finally been announced.

Private Division and Intercept Games just announced today that Kerbal Space Program 2 will finally enter into Early Access on February 24, 2023. This Early Access release will be made available for PC on Steam, Epic Games Store, and "other digital storefronts."

Making rocket science seem easy.

One of the biggest hurdles that the development team at Intercept Games wants to overcome for Kerbal Space Program 2 is how to get new players on board. Who could have possibly foreseen that actual rocket science might be a bit too much for some players to wrap their heads around an enjoy.

To that end, Intercept Games is working on ways to bring on new players with "a number of enhancements for onboarding and approachability."...

Star Theory Games and Private Division announced that Kerbal Space Program 2 is in development and coming to PC via Steam in Spring 2020. A PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release will take place "shortly after." This marks the second Private Division published title announced today to be coming to Steam. It seems as though the love-affair with timed-exclusive releases on the Epic Games Store has come to an end already, which is good news for consumers....
